While I do think Glue is a masterpiece and captures the spirit of dance music vividly, it most certainly isn't very danceable. It's like a painting about dance music but isn't a dance record itself. That's how I feel about it.
"Most certainly isn't very danceable" ? It's not far off from a UK garage beat, something I'd consider very danceable. I guess the term "danceable" has been reduced to mean a straight 4/4 kick drum these days, but many people prefer breakbeats like this to get them moving
After watching this video, one interesting conclusion arose to me. Where Losing It tried (very hard), but ultimately miserably failed, Glue absolutely smashed it. The thing in question is capturing the zeitgeist of early-mid 21st century dance music btw i literally "created my channel" just to leave this comment here. absolutely stellar channel you have boiling on that stove mate, so glad i caught it in it's infancy. here's to many more dropping these, mr. drop this, or better yet, keep on droppin' this in the this dropped world!
yo bro cant believe how informative this is really made me think about bicep glue about like how its kinda speaking to the people in their own language kinda way yknow. safe bro innovative content
Oh man, I think I heard this song for the first time in the streamer B0aty's playlist when Twitch still "allowed" unlicenced music. It feels like a billion years ago now. Fitting.
I used to dj about from 2004 till 2014. I feel the same about this track. In my understanding it's because the coice of instruments and ensamble which sound a lot like those days incasulated in feelings after raves.
Ugh, 2 percussion loops with few tracks fading in and out with zero beat progression or actual danceable melody. If that's what dnb is evolving into, please take me back to jungle. Come on, BoC did this 30 years ago and it was both more complex and melodic.

this isn't dnb and isn't trying to be dnb
@@triturn8676 doesn't justify the poor qualities of the song
