Depending on which one you get will determine what it does.
But beyond that there are some very important things to look out for when choosing any supplement, especially magnesium.
In this video I break all this down and more.

You should preface your blanket statements about your experience with each form of magnesium as it didn’t work with your metabolism. My 5 years of experience with Mag Citrate Calm. Is very positive. Lowered my BPressure, gives me mental clarity-I am more methodical in my thinking abilities , very good energy (59 YO), No arthritis at all, good mood, great sleep. Everyone is different so everyone needs to experiment. Its not a one fits all scenario by any means. On the flip side I tried magTheonate and it did not have any noticeable effect on me. I went back to my Calm.

For high blood pressure a combo of K2. 200 mg and Magnesium Citrate 700 mg works for me. From 146/100 to 125/85. Off my Beta blockers. Try it. I use 2 scoops of Calm. And Sports Research D3 w/K2 and just K2 100 mg. Take daily. When I slack off BP goes back up. My experience w/Calm for the past 5 years is that it does improve cognitive function, relieves pain in knees and hands (no pain I’m 59) and BP is under control. Everyone is different so it’s worth a try.

Many people refer to magnesium as the original "chill pill", and for a good reason! Numerous studies have linked magnesium with boosted mental health and managing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Low magnesium levels are often associated with depressive moods, so it's easy to see why supplementing with magnesium may be useful in managing depression. Magnesium also plays a key role in nerve regulation, neurotransmitter balance, and the production of the "happy hormone" serotonin, as well as melatonin (which supports restful sleep). Supplementing with a high-quality magnesium complex could help you relax, manage stress, and sleep better.

Carbonate flakes is better for soaking body in bath (plus good hydration recommend). Not so much oral supplements.
Threonate, Glycinate, Taurate, Malate are my top 4 magnesium. Citrate is okay at lower mgs but too much is a heavy diarrhetic

Are you also trying good quality Omega s. Dha and epa. I take Barleans Swirl Omega liquids. Totally a game changer for my moods. Also D3 with K 2. And try Calm. Mag citrate. All 3 work super good for me. Keep caffeine down to just 1 cup. That effects my panic attacks negatively if I over indulge. Peace to you ❤

Agreed, but what I've researched, magnesium glycinate is the best, unless you're using it to get unstoped.....
