I love the goth kids. It's awesome that Matt and Trey seem to know about the goth subculture, and about goth/industrial groups such as Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, and Skinny Puppy. If you look closely in Henrietta's bedroom, there're posters of them on the walls - but they changed the names slightly to avoid copyright stuff.

One of my favorite stories about Edgar Allen Poe, is how children would chase him in the streets, flapping their arms to imitate ravens, and he would turn around and yell, "Nevermore!", causing them to scatter. To spite Poe's tragic life and chronic depression, he wasn't such a dick that he was rude to strangers, or never had a sense of humor about himself. I think there's a lesson we could all learn in that.
The best part about this is there was an entire episode dedicated to emphasizing the differences between goth emo and vampire cultures but no one can make a valid enough point to explain it properly

They quite the lookers and make up the beautiful and more romantic faces of the vampiric world, however they are smart, cunning manipulators, something Edward is ignorant of since Bella a normal girl does all the manipulating in the movies and books.
The Man With The Crystal Eyes which sort of proves my point, vamp lovers would recognize the cheesiness of twilight, even romantic vampires becouse twilight is just so bad. It sullied the image if the thing they love so much and the twilighters are hated for their annoyingly bad taste. And they're just annoying.
