Somebody get that lefty guitarist an ice cold brew!!! Solid. ALL YALL. Solid!
You guys put out another Awesome song thanks guys
Stephan was bringing it wasn't he....wow!
If you have not already check these 2 leads out in ''Stranglehold''
Sweet sounding cherry 335 & Bigsby…looks & a voice to match‼️
guitar player absolutely nailed it
They always do 😮
brought a longing to this era..close to tears of lost time..lost people..lost oppurtunities..but life is reality and what you make of it..thx for such a reminder of what real rock was like..RIP Eddie..enjoy paradise..
This was mine and my wife's song😢. She passed away in April 2022😢❤
Don't stop singing this one to her, Jon. She hears ya! Keep the faith, man.
Jon I’m so sorry. 😞
Great choice for a favorite song.
@@kimmie-kat thank you
@@davidgilpin5200 never!
May Eddie M RIP, but he would absolutely be looking down and smiling at that incredible version. You guys just never cease to amaze your audience. Special callout to the gentlemen on Bongos, Lead Guitar (nailed it note perfect) and vocals. Please do not stop, the talent you all possess is pheromonal.
Great lead guitar solo and sound. NIce driving song. Keep it LLB
Its 1979 and I'm at the arrow lounge, scotch plains, new jersey, with Debbie Currie singing this to her. I was 19. She was 26. God did I love that woman. And those famous words. Keep singing baby and that voice of yours will get you to paradise. Thank you, guys. Another memory that makes life so special.
She was a 32 year old American-Japanese goddess from Wenatchee WA, I was a 23 from Kansas City serving in the military in Oregon. There was no way it was ever going to work out, but it was pure bliss at the time. She said we were soul mates, but we both knew. Married for 34 years now to the right girl, but I still think about the 72 year old girl now and then. 😀
What is this singer 's name? I want to get to know the band members better ❤❤
My man. Keep it up.
Is there any cover you guys can’t crush!!! Awesome….👊🏻
One of the best-sounding solos in rock … and your dude nailed it to perfection. Superb as always, LLB!!! 🤘🤘
Eddie Money would be very Proud! Y’all are just incredible!
Perfection again. Thanks guys for keeping the classics going!!!!
You guys are ON FIRE!!!.... you nail everything you play....keep up the great work!
By far the best cover of this song I've ever heard.
Back for another listen because right now, I don't know a better way to get the hair on the back of my neck to stand up, ha ... geez guys ... just so freakin' perfect ... MAN ❤️🔥💥❤️🔥💥❤️🔥
Its 1980 and the first band i ever played in could rock this song. We couldnt play anything else, but we could nail this one. I thought i was the baddest bass player in the state woodsheding this line. Spent hours on the hook. We always started our show with this song and went downhill from there. Good memories and times.
Thanks😎👍
been there, done that
...I used to be somewhere not dis-similar.
Now I'm studying to be a music teacher... Really I've had a ball... It's tough... The work ethic thing is really starting to paid dividends... My old man would be proud of me.... Gonna take him on a nice ride some day... Got two tickets... One for him... One for me... Gonna leave the birds at home this time...
You guys be careful. You keep setting the bar higher with every song. At this rate the original artist won't stand a chance...
Thanks to lexington lab band i got a noise complaint for playing this to loud.
Dude on the 335 was killing it! Nice vocals - smooth. Great job guys!
Another great cover. Thank you for keeping the music alive.
I've got two chickens to paralyze!
Love this song!! One of my all time favorites.
Can’t unhear this now
Great job gentlemen. Eddie would be proud.
Stephan Laplante....WOW....really nice......Stephan did such a good job on the Steely Dan tune...Eddy Money was a great selection for him to show his talents !!....
"I got 2 tickets to L.L.B. tonight" 🎶🤟🎸
Right on brother!🇺🇸
That was outstanding! I swear for every singer who's ever hit the charts LLB's got someone who can absolutely nail their sound.
LLB should cover You Can't What You Want by Joe Jackson. Perfect combo of great singing and musicality!
Wow, this was a major Hit back in the Summer of 1978 & it was recreated flawlessly. Add to that my favorite vocalist, Mr Benji Maurer singing, you've got it in da bag! 😎
I love Lexington Lab Band, and this song brings me back to my High School years. I went to see Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and Eddie Money was the warm up band. At the time, I didn't really follow Eddie Money but I knew this song. Anyhow, as I recall, Eddie Money was awesome, especially when Two Tickets to Paradise was played, and also as I recall the Steelers were in the Super Bowl or something, and Eddie Money's guitar player came out wearing a team jersey which, of course, the fans went nuts over, and the guitar solo part just rocked. LLB has brought me back to many memorable moments and this replication of this song is one of them.
Awesome! Love Brad on the guitar, and of course Ryan on the drums. Randy, Jessica, Benji on the keyboard! All incredible!
I can listen a hundred times and never get tired of it. The original is iconic. This knocks the icon over, and with respect.
AMAZING my dudes , simply amazing ! I grew up listening to Eddie Money , Tucson Arizona ,Davis - Monthan Air Force Base . I was in the 9th grade , damn the memories ! 😅 Thanks for this ❤
LOVE THIS!!!! Eddie was the hardest working man in show biz....he toured relentlessly....I saw him play arenas, fairs, festivals, bars, everywhere...this man had songs I listen to every single day. Two Tickets being my fav....great rendition guys!!!
Back in the 80s I saw him at a free concert on the beach in Daytona. He said something to the effect, "People ask me why I still tour. I tell them I need the feeling."
*Lexington Lab Band* Bravo bravo, well done, thank-you so much for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
Benji!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I could listen to him sing the ingredient list on a pop tart box!!!
Man I LOVED that! Sounded fantastic, R.I.P. Money Man!
You guys nailed this classic as usual!!
F-ing awesome, nailed the solo! I hate when covers can’t replicate the actual solo.
Damn... you all nail it every single time!
Excellent!
It doesn’t get much better than this.
Absolute Perfection 🙏 ✌️❤️
Omg my love for Eddie Money will never die. Thanks LLB! Great as always
Nailed it. Eddy would be proud
Man I’ve been a fan for many years now… You guys just keep getting better! Amazing! God bless you.
Fantastic!!! You could be AGT Super Stars if you auditioned!
Bravo. Brings back memories. Saw Eddie Money in Santa Cruz supporting this album. Opening act, Mike Nesmith.
Smoke was coming off my phone after watching that song. Ain't nobody hotter than LLB. They are on fire.
Really stellar job here guys! I think Benji nailed the lead vocal for this track! Love his voice for it.
That was just outstanding.
Once again…..the musicianship is just incredible! This line up is awesome!
Simplemente espectacular!!!, un reconocimiento para todos ustedes, un gran saludo desde Argentina 🗣️🎶🎸🎹👌🙋🏻♂️
Phenomenal 🎸
''The boys are back in town'' ROCK ON! Love me some Eddie Money...RIP Brother!
Really nicely done. This isn't an easy sound to replicate. The instruments and vocals were spot on. Fantastic.
I just stumbled up your group and I love your covers. They are true to the original artists.
Good deal people! Eddie Moneys OG guitarist Tommy Girvin was a helluva player, absolutely fantastic!
Again, honestly loved this cover better than the original!!! More classic rock, please!
Hell yes, LLB is back!! Is that 4 videos in 3 weeks? Love this rendition of this classic and awesome tune. Stephan was killin' it on the solo❤🔥. Keep the vids coming and a job well done by all👍.
Very impressive, I've only been playing guitar for 56 years now and the lead was note for note. I run you guys through an old Kenwood with 3 foot speakers and you sound amazing.🥂
Great performance of an iconic song. Well done.
Many of your recreations - to me - are more enjoyable than the originals. Great recording quality, excellent musicians that you can clearly watch playing every note, great vocals. Just as good as it gets. Thank you for keeping this music alive! Takes me back to college.
It’s like hearing the originals all over again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome. The vocals and the guitar solos were perfection!
I’m at a loss for words! LLB never disappoints ❣️❣️Thank U for bringing these childhood memories!!!
One of my all time favorite songs and you all killed it. ❤
Just OUTSTANDING!!
Just LLB doing LLB things and killin it! Thanks that was cool!
I had HOUND DOG with BLUE SUEDE SHOES on the B-side, when it first came out. That was in the 50s. I've been listening to all the genres for almost 70 years. I know my music, and I know
good music, bad music, and great music. It's a comfort to me to know I'll be listening to you play great music as I burn the tires off my 'Vette for years (or days) to come.
LLB is solely responsible for rekindling my teenage memories!!! Keep on rocking!!!!
Just tripped across you guys. What a treasure!!!!!
"Smile, Randy."
"I am smiling."
"Smile, Doug."
"I am smiling."
That was excellent!
LLB yall nailed that song. Thanks
Beautiful Baby, just amazing brings back the Saturday night cruises. This would be on the 8 track ,love the guitar solo some of the best times of my life.
Benji never fails to amaze. In fact, the entire Lab Band amazes me with every song. Amazing!
The quality hits keep on comin’
You guy’s are just great!
Fantastic song👍
When Stephan Laplante plays it looks like he's just manhandling that guitar! And yet, his fingers fly and he plays with FEEL! It is so fun watching and listening to he and Roger share - and play harmony - leads!
Awesome job
Another great job on a classic song guys. 😀
Leftys FTW! It's the REAL "Right-handed"! All you "right-handed" guitarists are really playing "lefty"! Just sayin'.
Drummer nailed it. Right in front of the beat. Well done
Eddie would be so proud!!!
Fantastic! Thank you again for bringing us the classics and your professionalism to making those songs so close to the original. It sure makes my day! 💙✌️
Benji what an awesome voice!! That was great 👍. I enjoyed that very much. LLB - you guys rock!! Come to NY and I will get tickets to see you. Amazing job guys.❤❤❤ from NY
Great job as always LLB!! Great vocals and wailing guitar. Eddie would be pleased!!!
Holy Money Batman! GREAT track! SMOKIN' - love it! Those conga drums - the bass line - great vocals - the Hammond B3, you just feel the love all across the stage with these primo musicians showing off their chops and how about that lead guitar riffing? 5 stars to ALL the LLB talent on showcase here!
Ok folks, this has nothing to do with this song but I was wondering, best cover band is...? I follow Hindley Street Country Club (HSCC), and Sing It Live. All are pretty darn good. I've seen channels that "rank" these guys but IMO, LLB knocks it out of the park no matter the genre of the week is....very deep bench. Shout out from Louisiana 💪⚜
The vocals, harmony, guitars, drummer, key boards... ABSOLUTELY SOLID PERFORMANCE! Well done lads!
Fantastic guys
Takes me back to my teens. 14 to be exact. Some great times I had partying in the 70's. Excellent cover!
P.S. What happened to Liz Barker? Thought she had a really smooth voice.
Two cover suggestions: Only Yesterday and The Year of the Cat! What about?
Now there's a real banger! Every part was spot-on as usual, and tied together with Benji's rich voice and that big ol' Gretsch guitar. Love it!
This song was playing on the AM radio as my date and I drove to our high school prom in 1978. Sure brought back some nice memories. Stephan Laplante is on fire! Awesome guitar solo! Thanks for sharing!
So happy to see the two guitar players again!!
Perfect groove. Magnificent.
Thanks guys, another top shelf performance as usual :)
Great tribute....Eddie would be proud indeed and a shout out to the lead guitarist who did and a superb guitar lead originally done by . Jimmy Lyon, who is grossly underrated db
Another one out of the park!! The lefty git-picker is unbelievable! All of you all are amazing! I'm catching up on 11 years of LLB that I missed out on! Thanks for the 'wayback' tour!
Fantastic!
