Thanks for putting this together Jerad! Wishing you a year full of accomplished goals 🙌
notion Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard about - Patlarny Ancient Secrets Principle (do a search on google)? It is a great one off guide for maximising your life using a simple goal setting strategy minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my good mate called Gray at last got excellent success with it.
2:04 to skip the introduction
I changed the formula for the status a bit so that the completed goals have a separate emoji (unlike a red dot as you don't update the "Latest activity" on your complete goals. Sorry but I really don't like seeng a red dot on stuff that I completed)
if(empty(prop("Completed Date")), if(dateBetween(now(), prop("Latest Activity"), "days") > 30, "🛑", "👍"), "✅")
Nice video btw, thank you very much!
Good stuff. My wife really enjoyed this video
And then the Fire Nation attacked... the plague has certainly put a lot of our goals on hold. Thanks for the @Notion tips. I'm just starting an online masters program an I think Notion is going to be a great too for helping me manage all that.
Hey Jared, thanks for this. I'm just dabbling with Notion right now, it seems amazing. My only rather major concirn is when I look at there T's and C's theres some pretty worrying statesments in there about Notion being able to read and reuse your content. I'm kind of surprised that, as far as I'm aware, no content creators have picked up on this or discussed it. I think that probably Notions terms have good intent behind them but that's not an excuse for users to accept them in good faith. A thread on Notions Sub Reddit on this topic has worryingly had no response from Notion and they even deleted a reply they made. It would be great to hear your views on this and even do a video raising the concern more publicly so that it does get addressed. Cheers!
I don't think they will collect any information that can identify any user?
And there is an option call "Support Access" in "Notification & Settings". If you grant access then they will be able to enter to your account if you ask them to access your account for 2 reasons. 1. To solve troubleshoot problems, 2. To recover content on your behalf.
Let me know your thoughts about it And Are you using Notion now?
I love the quality of your videos
Thanks, Jerad!
I just grabbed the template. I watched it the day you released it and Happy to see that its already pushing 1,000 views. There is a lot of Notion content currently being generated but your approach is both personal and well laid out. I will work with the template tonight and circle back and share my thoughts. Keep up the good work!
Well done video! Easy to understand. I am in the process of setting up notion. Thanks for another good video👍🏻
Watching this video for 2021
I'm not sure why but my "select" tags don't appear in the main overview so I only see my goals and no tags underneath them can anyone help?
Thanks for your video. I have the same habits with you and hope everything in one space, that is easy for manage.
This application is amazing, thanks for making the video.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
what's the difference between started and in progress?
For me, started is more like the research phase or getting ready. In progress means activity working on it.
@@jeradhill Had the same question, I change to "getting ready'. And I change On Hold, to :Hold/Break: for now. Thanks.
Yooooo thank you this helped so much!
Thank you ! This was very helpful
