You’re a good man my cousin Vinnie. A little bit of help goes a long long way. I’ve been through 16 hurricanes and know what it means to get help. God bless you and those people still suffering 🙏🙏🙏
I am sure we just are not hearing everything. I saw a video where someone in one area has a bed and breakfast and is housing and feeding her neighbors.
Many have. Many have donated property for campers and tiny homes gifted to the victims. Some have offered up rooms in their homes, donated their own campers, vehicles. Operation HELO is taking an avg of 5 new campers per day and people are letting them park on their property for however long needed. The Amish r down there from my home area, Lancaster, PA, building. Most of the info I found on FB by clicking on the video icon. I only recently figured it out. God bless. ❤
Same thing happened in August 2016. It rained so hard and so fast all of our area flooded. We helped neighbors for a month to tear out Sheetrock and furniture. Almost made you want to cry. Especially seeing elderly people want to give up. Then realize hope is near. God sent the right people to help ❤️❤️
Our GOD is an AWESOME GOD ! My heart is broken 💔 for these wonderful people. Thank you all for serving 🙏 GOD by helping to get this mess cleaned up. GOD bless and protect you always 🙏.
You are a awesome man to go up there to help I want to go but can't get off work to be able to go. The regular ordinary people are up there helping more than the government.
I just keep watching in disbelief, i have never seen so much devastation, i pray everybody's heals, and get the help they need to rebuid, i herd that FEMA are offering next to nothing to buy the house's that have to be demolished , something like 10% of what there worth its heartbreaking, i can not imagine what they all went through, you are all hero's for doing what you are helping the people ❤ 😍💯🤟🙏 from the UK 😊

Carpet and wallpaper in a bathroom… there’s gonna be a ton of mold in there, but it ain’t from the hurricane. I hope you’re putting a respirator on before you start ripping that stuff out. Remember, put the air mask on yourself before you put the air mask on your kid because you can’t help anybody if you can’t breathe. It’s times like these that I am the most grateful for being an American because not only do we have equipment and resources to help each other, we have the heart and willingness to do so. God bless you, the Cajun Navy and everyone who is putting out their time and money to help others in need. Those of us from hurricane states (Sarasota, FL here) know what it means to be hit by these storms, I can’t be there so I can only encourage, so good on you for your efforts. Take care of yourself. By the way, great music, and great work, I could watch and listen to this all day.
Thank you so much for all that you and the other volunteers have been doing to help the people that are still dealing with the aftermath of all the devastation and loss. Wish i was 50 years younger, was healthy and able bodied so I could be back there helping in whatever way I could. I wish I could send money to help everyone. I am one of those trying to get by on social security only. Please keep showing what is happening. MSM doesn't care about the people or the truth. I have been continually praying for all the victims and the volunteers back there. May God continue to bless and protect you all in all your travels and all that you do. May you continue to be a bring a bright spot into those that have lost so much.
The government doesn't want to help; that's just a lie. These are all conspiracy theories eating out the minds of people they know they can brainwash and spread fake news.😮
God bless y'all for all the help you and your team provided those poor unfortunate folks affected by that storm...was wondering if any of y'all were affected medically by being exposed to all that mold? Praying that y'all return safely to your homes and, just know that we all are so deeply moved by your generosity and selflessness in aiding those unfortunate folks in WNC...safe travels, friends!

Speaking of hats, I wish I knew someone going that way. I have over 100 leftover double thick, knitted beanie hats that I knitted for charity last year. I'm east of you, outside of Statesville.
Cousin Vinnie, Thanks to all of you folks helping out. Prayers and invisible hugs with safety in mind as you assist. Snakes are showing up in strange places so walk carefully through your days. Friends from Maine went down two weeks ago and out of ten fire/rescue dudes, three got injured from lending assistance with two occasions of snakes. Cheers from Maine.
I love that people there are taking in other families that lost so much. What i had seen (not sure how true it is) but families can't leave. I had seen people post that they got denied by FEMA because they left rhe area to temporarily stay with families. If this is true, it is wrong. There are so many people across the nation willing to house families during the winter so they are out of the cold. You are an angel for helping out.

I drove through Asheville area. The world doesn't see the neighbors located in the sealed off area (guarded by police top preven looting). That area are complete disasters. Folks say gov't tells them it will be years to get water and power restored (so they're doing it alone). Not to mention, much heartache, death , and injury.

What they need now is the contractors and the money to rebuild their homes. 99.9% of them didn't have insurance for flood damage.
