I love Len Cariou and the lovely Angela Lansbury. The episodes with them both on Murder She Wrote were always my favorites. So sad that she is no longer with us 😞
I was fortunate enough to see Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou reprise their roles as Mrs Lovett and Sweeney Todd and perform "A Little Priest" at Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall. The raport and understanding they had together was wonderful to behold. Angela Lansbury lived a very long life and touched many lives. God bless her !
Angela is not only a icon, she is the woman of the century. The song of tale as old as time with the new show going to broadway will have the best feel great moment in the Disney franchise.
I wish they could allow a few minutes of silence while he gathers his thoughts. At one point, he sets up an anecdote and they move him right off of it. He is a legend in his own right, and, by the way, a true gentleman. Reading Angela’s authorized biography makes that abundantly clear. The work they did together on “Sweeney Todd” was so physically and vocally challenging that Len never sang on that level again in public. It destroyed his voice. The only reason Angela escaped that fate is because she was scheduled to not play matinees. I had the pleasure of meeting Len in 2010. He graciously autographed my “Sweeney Todd” CD cast recording - Angie enthusiastically signed it in 2007, such a classy lady - and spoke to me for a couple minutes. Before Len bid me goodnight he quipped “You got a job for me, kid? I need the work!” Words to that effect. By the end of 2010 he was on “Blue Bloods.” Twelve years later and he is still filming that role. It has made him wealthy beyond what he ever imagined, and oh, does he deserve it after all those years giving his all in the theater! Angie was very loyal to him, and he to her. Their kind of class is precious and rare these days.
Exactly, I mean they really didn't need to hurry him along. But it shows they are not familiar with him because they are acting like he is incapable of forming his thoughts he's only 83. He's always kinda of paced himself when he talks. Actually they were acting really embarrassing. If I were his representation I would call the station and tell them, my client is not Senile he is a working actor and cable of getting out full sentences and thoughts...
You’ll were you ride a living legend let the man speaking. You have him on zoom and you keep Talk and interrupting his thought patter. After you ask a question it’s rude to keep interrupting especially the great Tony Award Winner Len Cariou.
I have ALWAYS loved Angela Lansbury! She was SO gracious and kind. She DID say that she was most proud of Mrs. Potts in "Beauty and the Beast". Generations of children will hear her voice because the Disney movie is now a classic, and she will live FOREVER! How profound--I got chills. May she FOREVER Rest in Peace! 😥🙏💖
TO THOSE RESIDENTIAL NEWSCASTERS AND Y’ALL, “LATEST PIX11 VIEWERS, ‘MAY YOUR GRAND CREATOR REMEMBER THIS AMERICAN, SCREEN ACTRESS [ANGELA LANSBURY],’ ONCE RIGHTEOUS!” 😿😿
What created Ms. Lansbury's longevity ? She was a wonderful actress, human being and always a class and elegant act....

She was generous and talented and nice to all she met. I saw almost all the shows on Broadway that she performed. 🎭🎭❤️
I wanted to meet her so damn bad 😔💔🥺🙏🏾 Rest Easy my TV Grandma

Appointment in Athens is probably in my Top 5 Favourite Murder She Wrote episodes.
Widow weep for me was the best episode with them.

A wonderful lady and a great actress!

God Bless Dame Angela 😢
Who ARE these two clowns? Their condescension to Cariou hurts.
A lovely lovely lady. God bless Angela Lansbury and all her family.

Len…her stalwart friend and co-performer for so many years. Thank you for your comments sir.
Who thinks they knew Len guested on Murder, She Wrote several times as an MI-6 agent?
And one of those many men who were sort of love interests to Jessica Fletcher.
Exactly what I was thinking!!! They had no idea!
It's Michael haggardy
I never got to see them in Sweeney Todd but their chemistry on Murder She Wrote was fantastic.
🙏

Wow 96. Rip.
Where did they learn presenting ?
Dreadful technique from start to finish very unprofessional.
I had to turn sound off.
That woman reporter is so faking interest for the topic oh dear it's awful
Awkward interview
Horrible interview.
