I've heard that thighs should hang up to 1/4 over the edge to avoid blood clogs. So, it might be actually a deliberate design. Still, a good ergonomic chair should have seating depth adjustment. I'm surprised this one doesn't. I've seen some cheaper Chinese chairs (Mike-H from Noel Furniture) that have this feature.
I had this chair for about 29 days and it gave me uncomfortable neck pain. Everything about the chair is wonderful except for 1 or 2 things. 1st thing is a deal breaker. The way its designed, the total length from your butt to the thigh area is too short due to its design. The lower lumbar area is design in such a way to give it that curve but its not adjustable. Thus sitting on this char for a long time, forces your posture of the neck to lean forward, causing the strain on your neck. 2nd minor issue the edge mesh area at the edge of the seat does not have too much cushion. Mesh keeps you cool but abit rough on the edge of the seat. If you are taller than 5'10" I would not advice you get this chair. Similar chair for same price, is Duramont chair which has long seat length. but bottom is not 100% mesh but mesh cushion. This chair much more comfortable but also not recommended for anyone too tall because the neck support does not go up that high to compensate for tall folks. Good review. I was wondering about the adjustable lumbar support, I think it's a must have. I'm gonna go with a very similar chair to that link, the "Deluxe Mesh Ergonomic Office Chair with Headrest" as it's my best option as postage to Australia cost almost the same price as the chair lol
This chair has non adjustable lumbar, causing some pinching but the biggest issue is the seat pan does not slide forward or backward so for shorter people, the edge of the seat pan cuts into your circulation after a few hours. Arm rests also do not slide horizontally.

Just got mine. High quality and comfortable. Con: Can't adjust the lumbar support :-(. You can't call it an ergonomic chair and without the ability to adjust the most important part of the human posture: the spine!

the back shape of the chair to give the body proper support is very importance, 90% of the chair back twist support you will never use for more than 10 times, the back mesh/foam self support is more important
Kevin Wilhelmy I am 6,0 tall. Yes the head rest is 100% WAY too low. I ended up modding it as well by flipping the little plastic piece in the back and it turned out perfect. If it’s still too short for you. You can always buy an aftermarket headrest from amazon and get a much taller one. But overall the chair has been amazing and it wasn’t difficult at all to mod the head rest and to flip that plastic piece to raise it up a couple inches! I strongly recommend this chair to anyone looking at it!
@@AMarkosov i did actually, i did some more research and found a chair at my local office max called Workpro Quantum 9000. it was $400 chair but they had it on their website on sale for $150 so i was able to price match. the chair is amazing and you can basically adjust everything on it for your needs. the things i hate about it is that there's a lot of play in the armrests and the back part of the seat but other than that its amazing and it was a steal at $150.

Darn at the leg length. I have the same problems as you. Actually I'm pretty much you. 6'2" with longer legs so if the "SEAT" part of the chair is too small my legs hurt after a while. Add to the fact that I'm 50+ now and my body just doesn't bounce back like it used to!

Found this chair because I moved and need a new one. I practically "live" in my chair. And now I'm looking to upgrade. I'm 6' even so I doubt I'll have the leg problems. Please give us a year update on this chair once Fall of 2020 rolls around. I don't need a new chair just yet, currently using an ergochair 2 but am quite disappointed. I've never been able to find a comfortable setting. I can't figure out why either, I've been to a chiropractor, had my back adjusted but still can't get comfortable in this chair even after 2+ years. I need something different next time but I can't afford Steelcase Leap so what you reviewed here is right in my price range if it holds up.
I've had my current mesh office chair from OfficeMax for over 10 years. Mesh still looks as good as new and functions great whereas any normal officer chair's cushioning would have been blown out after a year or two.
Can't seem to find the chair anyware. It was available on amazon.de (direct links still available) but doens't show up in the search results. On their website, only the red version is in stock. My only problem with the chair is when I try to use the headrest it goes down when I put my head on the headrest because there's no lock-in the headrest pivot, is there any way to fix this issue?
I want to say that this is the most amazing chair ever!! Initially I put the seat on backward despite the clear indication showing front and back positions under the seat. It was so easy to set up but I put the seat on backward and thought why would they make such a wonderful chair so thin like the mesh on metal against my thighs? Well I put the back to the front and positioned it right and low and behold it is perfect now with all the right cushioning under my thigh... lol I can't believe I did that!! Another thing, to tilt the chair back you just pull the lever outward... the same lever that you use to adjust the height of the chair.
I was thinking the same thing, was planning on buying the ergochair until i came across a video about the cheap squeaky noises it makes all the time and the strong smell that doesn’t go away after 2 weeks.

Just spent $317 on this char on Amazon and it was EXTREMLY uncomfortable. I am 5'11'' and weight 200 lbs. This mesh of the seat on this chair is JUST TOO SMALL. You can feel your full body weight pressing on your thighs because of bad design of the angle of the mesh seat. Worst chair EVER.
bro same happened to me. i bought it based off this video and i returned it after a week. the front part of the seat has a cushion that pushes into the back of your legs making it superr uncomfortable. i ended up going with the autonomous chair and that one was worse. nouhaus is better than autonomous but for long hours of sitting i cant use either.
Its a decent looking chair but I'm so tired of everything just being private label upon private label. This chair included, you can find the same one under so many brands. I would rather just buy these direct from the chinese factory making them.

When did Paul Wall start reviewing office chairs?
my height is similar to yours and now im trying to find ergo chair , but they are all so small
It's almost useless looking for information on good chairs. Thanks to positive reviews, this is now running at about 700 dollars US on amazon. Which means it's no longer good value for the money.
Just spent $317 on this char on Amazon and it was EXTREMLY uncomfortable. I am 5'11'' and weight 200 lbs. This mesh of the seat on this chair is JUST TOO SMALL. You can feel your full body weight pressing on your thighs because of bad design of the angle of the mesh seat. Worst chair EVER.

bro same happened to me. i bought it based off this video and i returned it after a week. the front part of the seat has a cushion that pushes into the back of your legs making it superr uncomfortable. i ended up going with the autonomous chair and that one was worse. nouhaus is better than autonomous but for long hours of sitting i cant use either.

Its a decent looking chair but I'm so tired of everything just being private label upon private label. This chair included, you can find the same one under so many brands.
I would rather just buy these direct from the chinese factory making them.
