FYI Sihoo is selling the M18 cheaper than Giantex at the moment. Giantex is $150, Sihoo is $175 - $30 coupon = $145. Only a $5 dollar difference, but it might not be worth looking for other brands selling the same chair when Sihoo is selling it at a competitive price.
Do not buy the Sihoo under any circumstances. The chair might have been good at one point in time, but I bought two of them last year and the cushion is paper thin, wore out within weeks of use. I had to get two back replacements from Sihoo because one of the chairs came with back that had loose mesh, the lumbar support is angled poorly and rock hard despite the material over it, so if the mesh is a little loose it will dig into your back, which is what a lot of people seem to suffer from (a lot of the low score reviews complain about this)
For anyone curious about the Colamy Krin chair, I've had it for a few weeks now and I love it. I'm 6'3" and pretty thin, for reference. I've previously used Steelcase and I believe even a Herman Miller chair at previous jobs, and while I can't say this is a 1:1 comparison, BTODtv is correct that it has some solid features you'd usually only see on brands like that. Overall great chair for the price, in my opinion. I managed to pick one up when they were on sale for $129.99 w/free shipping, total steal.

Tried the Hyken the other day at the store, I didn't like it either. Staples alone has better options for under $300. I was considering the Mellet, but have seen the piston fall through on a decent amount of people. I am seriously considering the Kirin now. Seems like a pretty good value at $140 or $150. Thank you for making this video. I appreciate you guys giving input on these chairs so we don't have to buy them all ourselves.

Thankfully, the extended warranty from Staples provided us with a full reimbursement store credit (and he was not injured). This year, he is going to receive the Steelcase Leap V2 from your site. I have a question! I just bought the Ticova and I have been adjusting it to what I think is the proper spot but my middle back hurts after a while. I’ve tried putting the lumbar support in different spots but I don’t know why it still hurts. I’ve never had and ergonomic chair before and I have pretty poor posture. So does my back hurt because my posture is being corrected? Or am I doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP!
"Kirin vs the Atlas"..... Who wins ????I tried the Hyken and thats the 1st chair I sat in my life that I said immediately this is crap and is so uncomfortable ...That chair should be $100.00 no exaggeration ..
Ryan back with another budget banger list! It's a little more expensive, but do you guys have a Sihoo M57 (and under a bunch of other names I'm sure) to review and compare with? It's a pretty popular chair being the #52 best seller on Amazon, under $200 (granted with a coupon) and seems like it addresses some of the issues with the M18 (has 3-way adjustable arms and mesh seat)? A lot of the other reviews of it on YT are just "it's better than my rickety old chair therefore it's good" lol
Yeahh I've been looking for chairs for the last few months and practically nobody talks about the Sihoo M18, the new standard on Sihoo questions are always about the M57 (140-180$), or the Sihoo Doro C-300 (230-330$)! Those two are very popular on the budget chairs topics, I wish BTODtv could make vid about them!
I'm glad to finally see the M18 properly covered. Since I was recently shopping for chairs, I watched a TON of BTODtv videos and I only found mentions of Sihoo chairs in passing - I think one of those tier ranking videos with three of the guys together. It must have been the M18, and the only thing they said was that they considered the seat cushions to be way too hard and it's so bad for them that it felt like they didn't care to say or even look into them much more than that. I've seen other reviewers like Ahnestly say, however, that it takes time to break in the seat, and then it's pretty good - and he's shorter and surely lighter than these big guys at BTODtv. But since I assume and feel the BTODtv guys are more experienced and educated than any others I saw, it does make me wonder if that "broken-in seat" would be a seat that is too thick and too deformable, which BTODtv has warned about. I usually hear them say they try chairs for at least a week so I hope it was the same with the M18. However, I do still hope BTODtv review more of them if they haven't because Sihoo seems to be fairly popular in at least ASEAN countries. While shopping and trying out various chairs, I wanted to try the M18 but the store that had it was kind of far, and we had enough good options in the 4 we had visited already. I THINK I tried out the M57, but meshes are rarely viable on cheap chairs due to that crease mentioned at 3:52, unless you're on the lighter side so it was a quick no from me. I'm of average build, 6ft, and all meshes stretched too much or had that pad in a way to wrinkle the front edge into a "sharp" edge for the thighs - that "crease." The only meshes that held up for me and felt good were the GT Chair ISEE/Marrit M and X, all chairs by a Vietnamese startup called Epione, and of course, the Aeron. Someone closer to 5ft was able to like a lot more full-mesh chairs, but I could only choose between those three or a larger variety of cushion-seat chairs.
I recently purchased and received the Sihoo M57 office chair. After two weeks of use, I'm pleased to report that the chair has held up nicely, offering good seating and back mesh support. While the back mesh's plastic edges are practically unreachable when sitting properly, there is slight discomfort from the plastic edges of the seat itself. This could potentially become more problematic over time if the seat mesh sags with age (this problem is targeted towards larger individuals). Additionally, the headrest and lumbar support are highly useful features with good adjustability. I particularly found the headrest to be especially comfortable when the seat is tilted. I hope this is helpful, even if you’re reading it more than seven months after this comment.
does the Ticova come in anything other than black, the only colors that wouldn't clash in the space I need it in are white or light colors. If it does not come in white what chair is the best one I can get in white for under 200 bucks?

For under 200, can you please review Cykov Home Office Chair. It seems like a good chair, better than Ticova, and comes with a lot of color (Blue violet is really eye-catching).
@@btodtv Oh ok, so you've tried or reviewed it before? It has 4.5 Stars review, though fewer reviewers than Ticova, 1.8K vs 3.8K. I think the reason that I kinda like the Cykov design more than the Ticova is because of the arm rest that you can swivel. I've seen a ton of BTODtv chair videos since I was shopping for a chair recently and I'm glad to finally see the M18 properly covered since I've only heard you guys mention Sihoo chairs in passing - basically eliminating it from any further discussion just because of the seat. But if they're available in the US, I do still hope you guys review more Sihoo chairs because the brand seems to be fairly popular in at least ASEAN countries. I didn't get around to trying any apart from maybe the M57 but as someone close to your build (I think) most cheap chairs have meshes that crease for more and just don't work - always a clear pass/fail with meshes, so apart from the Aeron, I only found 2 brands with good seat mesh. Cushions had much more variety and potential to work for me. And again, I'm commenting the hope to get reviews / feedback from lighter people as well. A lot of those frame concerns may not apply for smaller people, and similarly, other comfort checks will vary by person, right? A comfy seat for 6ft me was too hard for a 5ft'er. A chair set at perfect resistance for good recline just by shifting my weight was immovable by the 5ft person, and a good recline for the 5ft person felt like a near-0 resistance and a fear of falling backwards for me.
I like your reviews and your tier lists but I find them very rigid in terms of the elements you review and the emphasis you put on certain elements. I understand that you are doing reviews from a standpoint of ergonomics but really I know very few people that use any chair that way all the time. It would be helpful even if not part of the grade of the chair to know things like how easy is it to cross your legs (huge for me actually). How stable is it if you sit on the edge? How stable is it in recline? Would also be good to add shorter heavier reviewers to the mix as well.
You’ll be a huge fan of mesh seats when you sit on a chair for 3 hours in a warmer areas and when you stand up you don’t smell the sweat of your Baal in whole office.
Hey guys, love the vids on my search for a new daily driver, I was wondering what your thoughts are regarding the Colamy Atlas vs Colamy Kirin shown here. Which do you think is better? Thanks!
This channel is new to me since I (obviously) don't buy office chairs too frequently. Though I appreciate the videos and information provided it is rather strange that every chair at the top of your lists have poor customer ratings. Like, without fail (I don't consider 4.0 out of 5 stars to be a good rating). Are these reviews paid for?
I just couldn't get used to the Ticova tbh. The seat was too small, not very wide, and I just never felt comfortable. Ended up returning it and still looking into a new chair.
To be honest, just bite the bullet buy a herman miller embody or aeron. I kept buying 500$ chairs and within a year i had to go get another new one b/c the last one broke. If i just got the embody from day one i'd save more time and have a chair that is super quality and comfortable to sit in. That's my opinion, it's fixed my back pain by a lot. I would 100% do it again from day one.
@@jacobyson7629 Maybe, but considering the Atlas sold out entirely after getting recommended the odds of it being a marketing push by Colamy are pretty decent.

@@btodtvI’m stuck between this and the Ticova. The headrest might be the sell
The ticova bottoms out so fast after everyday use in a month and the seat is so hard..
Thanks!
all these great chairs not available in the uk
Some are
The KIRIN is $457 in Canada. 🤨
You can just get a used, good condition Zody for less.
Ugh, ffs. Why isn't there any affordable options in Canada!!?
Same in EU my friend...@@JS-ji5fl
Bro i think you guys can just say the price instead of just under 200
I wish the Ticova's arm rests could flip back.
Then they wouldn't move up and down -Greg
Does anyone know a good flip armchair under $300?
looking for this too, someone suggest a great flip-up armrest for decent price (under 250), If the Hbada is not the best option. Please and thanks!
the ticova its so bad, i have it right now and its gonna be sended back for sure
Make 5 videos about same chair
Tikova in Canada is 700$
This channel is new to me since I (obviously) don't buy office chairs too frequently. Though I appreciate the videos and information provided it is rather strange that every chair at the top of your lists have poor customer ratings. Like, without fail (I don't consider 4.0 out of 5 stars to be a good rating). Are these reviews paid for?
you shouldve put more emphasis on height
I just couldn't get used to the Ticova tbh. The seat was too small, not very wide, and I just never felt comfortable. Ended up returning it and still looking into a new chair.
Maybe look at the Colamy options as alternatives -Greg
To be honest, just bite the bullet buy a herman miller embody or aeron. I kept buying 500$ chairs and within a year i had to go get another new one b/c the last one broke. If i just got the embody from day one i'd save more time and have a chair that is super quality and comfortable to sit in.
That's my opinion, it's fixed my back pain by a lot. I would 100% do it again from day one.
just purchased the ticova for 110€ from amazon in austria. hope i'm happy with it!
how is it?
is it (still) good after 8 months?
I will return it after 6 days. Killed my lower back
Is Colamy sponsoring you guys or something? Both of their chairs take your 200 and 300 dollar recommendations now?
Maybe they just are a good budget chair company that just got recognized
@@jacobyson7629 Maybe, but considering the Atlas sold out entirely after getting recommended the odds of it being a marketing push by Colamy are pretty decent.
We’ve never spoken to anyone at Colamy. I found these two chairs searching deep in Amazon for more options in this price range and these ended up being solid chairs. The same happened with Ticova and Mellet last year. We are always on the look out for better options that bring a solid value for you guys -Greg
Doro
Why is the tallest member of your team not doing these videos? If he can comfortably fit in a chair, there is a good chance that anyone under his height can. None of these chairs fit people over 6'1".
Haha, he can’t be in every video -Greg
lol wtf. Because if it fits for taller people then it probably wont for shorter ones? And 6’1” isn’t an average height either
bro yall can not spell any of these chairs correctly in the videos
lol fr. The link for Hbada is wrong too. What is Miami Kieran hahaha
I HATE CHAIRS STOP RECOMMENDING ME CHAIR VIDEOS I DO NOT WANT TO BE IN THIS NICHE PLEASE.
😭
