    I'm convinced of two things: one, that the revival is close to what the original final season would've been. And two, based on Lorelai's wishing for a second child in this scene, the original 'four final words' were not "Mom?" "Yeah?" "I'm pregnant." -- they were "I'm pregnant." "Me, too."

    I think Lorelai issuing an Luke an ultimatum was a bad idea because on Grey's Anatomy when Bailey's husband told her that if she took a pediatric fellowship their marriage was over she declined the fellowship but also ended her marriage because she said when marriages come down to ultimatums there's no marriage or something like that.Of course i know Lorelai and Luke weren't married but i think it's the same thing stands,

    • @byronbraddock
      @byronbraddock 4 месяца назад +9

      Yes with a but. I agree the ultimatum was and is always a bad idea, BUT Luke kept putting up stop after stop after stop in front of moving their relationship forward. She hit a breaking point and made the wrong move, but he was neglectful and inattentive.

    • @Kikiricki11
      @Kikiricki11 4 месяца назад +10

      I usually agree that ultimatums are bad but in this case Luke was stalling and basically playing with Lorelai. He was just holding off on advancing further but told her the opposite. She was tired of pretending to be fine for his sake as he doesn't take her into consideration at all. I understand that.

      Yea, because he didn't have the same feelings for Nicole as he did for Lorelai. It was easier for him to jump with Nicole because there was no real risk, not really.
      With Nicole, he was practicing for Lorelai so he could do this same thing with her without making the same mistakes.

    Lorelai cheating on luke with chris as well

    • @bekenotsalony2905
      @bekenotsalony2905 3 месяца назад +1

      @@biancagardner1015 season 6, which this is from if I'm rememberign right, aired in 2006. In 2006 Scotus say 81 cases, 85 the year before. In 2006 Justice Clarence Thomas only weighed in on 24 opinions. He used to be known for just sitting there and looking stern and not saying much. These days, he's known for opening his mouth and saying some of the most insane unhinged things to come out of the court in decades. He benifited from affirmitive action, actively tried to remove it. He's in an interracial marriage, he thinks they should be illegal again. He's proud of his work to get bribes legal, the fact that he gets so many "gifts" from rich billionares who then have cases in front of him that he almost always goes their way on, he has had an opinion on almost every case this year, and almost all of them have been to the utter detriment of everyone in this country who isn't rich white and christian.
      But her point was, she was sick of being the silent person just standing there and she wanted to have an opinion and to be heard. And my point was that the reference to him had aged like milk because he's gone from being nearly always silent to almost always sticking his nose into things and saying things that shouldn't be said. He's openly stated he wants to go after contraception, interacial marriage, gay marriage, and a host of rights and protections we take for granted now, and remove them all. And I've seen some things that suggest that a lot of it is because he's mad that when he was having his confirmation hearing that they believed the woman who said he assulted her and questioned him, when he was the man in the situation and she shouldn't have had any weight to her words.
      I hope that cleared things up.

    I am sorry, but if someone comes to my workplace and acts like a lunatic, I call an ambulance because I assume they have a serious health issue. I understand that she wanted him to make a decision, but that is not the way to go about it. Sit down, have a talk, explain what your expectations and needs are, see if his fit yours and if not, split. What she did was simply unnecessary.
