That described football relationships perfectly! And that is why your best friends for life come from playing team sports with them! U know how they handle hard times
I was at that game. It's probably one of the best games I've ever attended offense wise. I didn't even know the incident happened until after the game.
BOB is the worst ever. He wanted all the smoke in Houston and couldn’t handle the power that he wanted. He chose his GM and got him fired a year later. DeMeco and CJ and brought that franchise back from the dead. This guy deserves no praise and should be coaching high school.
@@ttred7621 you damn right we’re salty. That bastard sabotaged and destroyed our franchise to the point where it took 3 years for us to recover from a traumatic loss against the Chiefs in the playoffs, because of his bone head decisions. And then he traded away D-Hop killed Deshaun Watson’s season, to the point where he was demanding a trade while groping massage therapists. Thank God that worked out. You try and not be salty after a coach destroys your franchise after Bill O Brian destroyed ours. F*** the entire Patriots coaching staff.
Having done both military and football in high school as a starting oline on a top 10 texas football team, i can say the camaraderie between the guys is spot on the same. We could absolutely want to kill one another over a screw up, but turn around five minutes later and be cracking some of the lewdest jokes with each other. The brotherhood in both the military and football is almost identical. Stakes are much higher in the military, but we treated every game like a battle and the three games my senior year we did lose, the other team’s coaches told ours that their guys were beat, to which ours replied we can go another 4 quarters…and he was right. Only lost by a td each game and those teams ended up going pretty deep in the playoffs. We didnt get the chance bc, unbeknownst to us, we had an ineligible player(who was a backup to the backup on defensive secondary) so uil made us forfeit three games. As a parallel in the army, i remember october of 2006 pretty friggin vividly: a base in se baghdad had their ammo point hit and it cooked off for 36 hrs and we lost 32 soldiers in our unit alone, but earlier in the year, zarqawi got smoked by our delta guys(with the help of a few precision guided bombs. The highs, lows and adversity are similar but, again, higher stakes in the military.
There are two ways to interpret your comment. 1. You’re sarcastically “thanking” him for walking out on his team and forcing them to scramble looking for a new coach. 2. You’re genuinely thanking him because he’s a terrible coach and he left before he had a chance to screw things up during the season. I’m guessing you were going for number 2?
One of the few good things about social media is the fact that we get to know so much more about the game, the players, the coaches, all the behind the scenes stuff. Getting to see the personal side of so many players and coaches while they just shoot the shit is a treasure that the older generations never got. I think social media has helped ruin us in a lot of ways, but at least we’re fortunate enough to have stuff like this. As a long time pats fan, I actually hated Billy O lol. But then I watch stuff like this and I’m like damn I guess I was just a hater 😂
And in 2024, we finally learned that underpaying coaches and giving them reduced titles was a KRAFT thing, which Belichick took the slings and arrows for all these years.
No he quite obviously talked about anecdotes from the Patriots that host Julian Edelman prompted him with because this is a clip from retired Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman's football podcast Games With Names and not a podcast called I'm A Miserable Loser Who Just Wants To Complain
If anybody’s really good at reading lips, what do you think was said by Brady? All I could get out of it was he said something about “ you gotta go get it” when he was talking to the receiver and then Bill said something, and Tom said something back, and then Tom looked at the receiver and looked back at Bill and said something then “No shit” and that’s about all I can get out of it, but if anybody’s really good at doing that, I’d love to know what all Tom said
None of the coaching staff had a problem with telling Legend Tom Brady to " shut the F up" but they let Aaron Hernandez go clubs, talk shit in locker room, and be gangster. To the point murder???🤔🤔🤔🤔
I don’t think I would be able to coach Brady. When you have someone as good as he is, you’re pretty much his assistant. That doesn’t seem like an enjoyable role🤷🏾♂️.
Billy O. So funny. There are lots of arguments like this a hundred times a year. The only reason this keeps coming up is TB 12 was in the argument. Milk it Bill

Have you always been a scold Mr Grammarian? You need to brush up on your basic rules. Didn’t they teach you that punctuation marks always go inside of quotation marks?
Basically "I'm gonna pay you as a QB coach but your gonna have the responsibilities of the offensive coordinator"
Patriot way. Work at a discount.
Did it pay off on the back end? Probably well worth it and he did it again

Too much was made out of that Incident
Absolutely, that’s the medias job though
Well, we don't all have the elite skillset in the area of performing the whole cool BJ thing.
Shut up
That describes most patriots controversies for the last 25 years
Made more out of that than Dashaun Watson sexually assaulting 30 women

He’s the devil. Piss on O’Brian
@benmecha01 if "the guys" are a bunch of franchise destroying, ego driven jack-wagons. Sure.

Bill O’Brien and Rex Ryan we’re all great football minds when they first came out. Idk what happened? Did the other teams figure them out?

Stuff like that happens all the time, not a big deal. There are just waaaay too many cameras and media outlets watching.
It was more like a 15 year old yelling at the greatest of all time player and the he was fired as soon as the season was over I remember.
Hope Brady sees this bro
