Love how you have translated these rush tracks, they work incredibly well as classical pieces, I'd love to know what Alex would think of them. Would love to hear more - Twilight Zone from 2112 and Losing it from Signals as my suggestions!
An enjoyable listen. IMHO, GUP contains some of Alex's finest playing and I consider the Between The Wheels solo to be one of his best solos of RUSH's career. Thanks for sharing this!
Captivated from beginning to end. Wow! man, that was 5 minutes when I just forgot who I was, what planet I was on and just concentrated on the music. Rush fan since 1977 and when this album came out I was "between a rock and hard stone" in my life and totally related the tracks to my own predicament. I think you just made me appreciate that piece more which until 5 mins ago I would have thought impossible. Thank you so much for keeping me on my toes as regards to Rush and their music. Please do make some more. Take care and have fun.
@@the18thmusician40 incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am begging you to do Available Light. I have been trying to learn the section, ''oh the wind can carry....."" i know its on deep E and A strings around the 2nd fret, but can not figure out
@@Augfordpdoggie I love that song. I will definitely do that one. I am finishing an album for release later this year and will then get back to some Rush covers.
Absolutely amazing cover of this song. Alex brought such an Array of sounds including classical to Rush. 40 year rush fan and this music still fascinates me with the level of talent.
Your playing of this song is so incredibly beautiful. It just goes to show how thoroughly complex and sophisticated Rush's compositions are. There are so many of their songs that adopt beautifully to classical performance. There is a recording that is out there somewhere in the ether, essentially a strings group doing a classical performance of many of their best songs. Your masterful interpretation of Between The Wheels is perfection.
Thank you very much! I honestly didn't know what to expect before trying this, but I agree that their music really works well in this type of adaptation.
Thanks! Hoping to do more videos soon. I don't have sheet music or tab for the three parts. I believe I made them using a combination of a tab online and listening to the song over and over. I also watched a live version. I then memorized each part to record.
Great song, never thought I would hear it with nylon. Well done!
Thanks!

Thanks! Those are great suggestions!
Extremely good performance. To think this song is 40 years old now (was recorded between November 1983 and March 1984, I think)
Thanks! it has always been one of my favorites. I think that whole album is underrated
Great song of a great album
one of their best that a lot non-Rush fans don't know about
Very nice work; I'd be interested to see you do the same for 'Losing It' or 'Territories'...
Thanks! Love those songs. Will put them on the list of future songs to cover.

Thanks and totally agree! That solo has always been one of my favorite Lifeson solos.
Yes, one of its best songs. And a great end for the album. 👌

Even Alex would have stopped to listen to that. Well done!
Thanks very much!
Could listen to this all day! Also now I'll be listening to Rush with a different perspective and even better understanding. Thanks so much.
Thanks! I am about to release another Rush cover in the same style. I love playing them.
Unbelievable. This is the best reinterpretation of any Rush song I have ever heard.
Thanks! I hope to do more later this year.
Awesome! I look forward to seeing which one(s) you choose.
