chrysler 440 is 7.2 liter so 6.6 is @400 cu in 455 is 7.5 liter

There seem to be a lot of RUclipsrs who are guinea pigs for that “truck.” I can see why people wanted one. It was pretty hyped up with all the bells and whistles but a lot of that stuff failed. Including the wheel covers that dig into the tires

351 Cleve,land is not a cobra jet. Was the engine replaced?
The last version of the Cobra Jet was based on the 351 Cleveland.

@@pwrshots smog years and the curtain closing on the first generation Mustangs. There was a 429 CJ and Super CJ for 1971. The 351 Cleveland was a great power plant in its own right but emissions and fuel economy took bites out of performance.

I expect states will figure out they are losing revenue from no gas tax on EV, and you will be billed each year when you reregister and record your milage??? I would be inclined to sell the Tesla if you can get near your cost back.
I would sell it quickly
In NH we pay an annual EV registration fee (like many other states) that is supposed to cover the taxes lost from not buying gas. It's like $100

Craig payed the dealer mark-up that Tesla calls "foundation series". But he'll write the loss off as a business expense.
I have a 1973 Mustang Mach 1 that I bought 17 years ago. It has not been on the road but a few times. After all these years I finally a week ago called AAA and had it towed to a classic car shop to get it road worthy. It is way overdue. I live near Orlando. Where are you relocating?

Any elec motor you add weight to it youre range will drop dramatically.
I really enjoyed this episode. I think it was a great idea for the mustang to go to the school. A lot of learning and troubleshooting different systems in a car from this era!

Many times I've tried to get my brothers kids involved with cars but its never happened. Now they are all in the middle 20s & it might be a real project for them to even change a flat tire.

If you say California or somewhere in some state where the gen Z kids are more worried about cutting off their genitalia vs preserving a cool old car I’ll understand- but I’d say the kids will enjoy it. If they don’t then it’s not a required class so they shouldn’t be there anyway. And lastly like they are going to get more enthusiastic about learning the lie that Christopher Columbus discovered America….yes they still teach this BS along with x plus z = y which I have yet to lose. I remember the 73 Mach1 I had. I wish I never got rid of it. I bought it when I was 16 and had no shop to work on it. I had to get rid of it when we moved.

That is great advice but Craig had this car for so long it might not distract him again until September when the kids get back to school. That might be time he realizes its too much work.
Moral of the story....don't EVER use an EV for actual work like towing
Should mention that your jet skis aren’t allowed in most New Hampshire lakes. Most lakes only allow full size three person jet skis.

@lot2196 ....I don't think it's gaslighting. It happened, but it shouldn't have. Towing in an EV is like towing in any truck, you won't get the same mileage towing a few thousand pounds regardless of the power plant. An EV isn't ready to tow 4k lbs and we've known that for a decade. If you tow, buy a diesel. If you don't EV's make all kinds of sense.

Geez why even produce a vehicle that can’t go more than 200 miles without needing to charge that’s insane. And when the range reduces after the battery starts to degrade then what? You’ll only be able to get 100 miles eventually after a few years

Your story of moving is SO similar. Moved from Indiana to California over 10 years ago and liquidating everything is a major undertaking. Cars, the house, go carts & 4 wheelers, furniture, parts, and tons of just....stuff. Of all the cars to keep, the Mach 1 is THE one to hold onto.

charging issues towing is why I dont want a EV truck my airstream is 26' so I would have un hook /hitch up add 10 mins
