This is the part of the game I think taps into real Rayman 2 territory with how terrifying it all is. the hoodlums are goofy most times, but they are a big threat due to how fast they populate the glade of dreams, almost every level in the game have multiples structures built by them, at the rate of how fast they produce and build over the lands, there a bein that must be stopped at all cost and as fast as possible. Hoodlum headquarters is what the game was building to, the full picture of what the hoodlums aspire to turn the world to, a lifeless land of lava and mechanical contraptions that do nothing but capture innocents and produce more hoodlums. a world of production, for the sake of more production, everything is the same with no location different to the other, the complete opposite to Raymans world. its kind of like how Ubisoft works these days more assassins' creed, for the sake of more assassins creed. lol
Underrated comment,in 13 years that I know this game I never tought of how dangerous hoodlums really are and how much they can change the rayman's world...I really like your comment
Ahaha it really is! Plus, this is when the whole dark comedic element of Rayman 3 was at it's best too IMO, what with the part where you have to beat the shit out of cutouts of yourself just to progress, or the Hoodlum who legitimately just sees no way out and shoots himself in the head. The later half of Rayman 3 really did feel like a true successor to 2 in my opinion, dark, scary and hilarious all at the same time.
@@dr.feelgoodmalusphillips2475 Indeed. But this does sound like oldschool dubstep, I'm not saying it is dubstep. All you need for dubstep is triplet percussions, low bass and a bpm between 120 and 150 (or 60 and 75 bpm, if you are counting differently) This track could be considered dubstep, but I also agree that it's not, just that it does sound like it. Listen to midnight request line for example, or duck trumpet
HHQ has the colors of literal hell. It's dark, full of dangerous Hoodlums. It's an amazing place. Plot You fall into the HQ, Globox helps you at the start a bit and then he is captured by the worst trap ever. You fight a lot of Hoodlums, you see their armory, the ships that you fight with in "the Tower of Leptys", you see lava. After some time you see Globox again which finds one of the ships and steals it. He's gone for some time. Then you see "her". The admin of the facility. The mashine. She sends hords of enemies, but you managed to win the battle. Ándre instantly reacts to that and initiated Self-Destruct sequence to kill you. Lava is rising, so do you. You are blasted to the Tower without any info about Globox, if he made it or not. Then you see Ándre and Reflux which gained the power of Leptys but in It's FULL potential. You only gained a bit of it. Now you know, you are gonna fight a demi-god with corrupted-lum on an arena. Alone.
Gotta say, as good as this is, it does feel a little lacking without the announcer's voice clips.
yeah, its part of the charm....
Hi there! I have made a version with the voice clips ruclips.net/video/Lf4Uynli7UA/видео.html

I like how you included the ambient track in the background.
21:23 - Always gives me Rayman 2 vibes... So cool to see the entire arc... Love these Rayman 2 and 3
È un gioco fantastico, di un'atmosfera magica
Bellissimo, e quanti ricordi
Piece of good work!
To be honest this is something i could use as study music
The factory mayhem is one of the best tracks of the game
Sounds like some oldschool dubstep. Love it
Just because it has some good bass and a beat doesn't make it dubstep.

@@DandyDan03 A very indecisive reply from you.
@@dr.feelgoodmalusphillips2475 wdym?
@@DandyDan03 Yeah, hard disagree. This sounds nothing like dubstep.

Alone.
But here is the best part - in the end you aren't alone at all
@defective4 Well, you are completely alone against hords of Hoodlums... until Globox arrives on that mini-ship.
