B.A.T.: Biological Aerodynamic Travel Footage of a game I've been working on. An abstract representation of an animal in its natural habitat.
To be honest this is something i could use as study music
AAAHHH AAAHHH HOT HOT QUICK GET IN THE SHADE!
My fav level ever!!! I'd replay it over and over
How is it that nobody ever talk about the phase two soundtrack
Rayman 3, the game that has a terrifying desert that has traumatised many, and then also has this right after
"Make him write bad checks" always tickled me playing this level
20:18 This sounds glitched out.
**DIIIIING**
3:15 ultra god
Love this <3
Almost sounds like spy music. Can imagine hearing this in XIII, Timesplitters or a James Bond game.
Oh yeah this is going in the Halloween core playlist
Same here, Desert of the Knaaren too.
The english spoken voices ruined Rayman for me. We were always used to the fantasy language. They first integrated VA with Rayman Revolution on ps2. The pc and dreamcast version of 2 are the best there is. Everything after aside from Rayman M and a few gba games is bad and annoying. Creatively it became ruined. Agree or not it's the truth.
"Cya in Rayman 4" Yeah, ok buddy.
how's it hangin' weiner dog? c'mon I'm kiddin'
silly globox, silly globox, WHO IS THIS BONEHEAD?!
nostalgia trip. whenever i played this level as a kid i felt sadness just from the music. desert of the knaaren scared me. (am swedish so as a kid i didnt understand english) so i was just left with the screams of the knaaren. the land of the livid dead gave me a feel that everything was gonna end and it felt sad due to it.
Whenever I hear "Searching for Globox" immediately the feeling of nostalgia makes me want to cry and go back to the times when I played Rayman 3 on my XBOX360 as a child... man the soundtrack of this game is just beautiful
Everybody's least favorite stage by a significant margin.
Eh, to be honest I preferred this stage over the end stage. It was a nice break of gameplay.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
always loved how beyond the hilarious snarking of andre and funny moments, rayman 3 felt just as sinister if not moreso than rayman 2 at points and levels like this just proved it, wandering this empty landscape and randomly seeing the hoodlums setting up full on industrial bases in them, that left an influence. Honestly i'd say Rayman 3 was one of the best aging games visually from the 6th gen era, along with other games that still look good today (silent hill, smt nocturne, mgs, others)
I Remember playing this when I was younger it was SOOO FUCKIN FUUN loved the music loved the fights it was a game that was just all out fun wish it was longer tho maybe one day the OG rayman will return the new one's were awesome to but I miss THIS type of rayman the goofy random shiz with the lil jokes in there it was AHEAD OF IT'S TIME.
Et la fée va voit chez Zelda si git suit !
Ok so I doubt this will get much attention but after I graduated highschool, I unabatedly, exasperatedly wanted, hunted, and bought myself a very expensive husky puppy... for our little suburban home. Every night, she would howl like a heartbreak and bark all day as if humans could understand her language, and bless her heart, Athena I named her, she would RUN and could not sit still for the life of her. I tried jogging with her once or twice, I could not keep up. She had the vigor of the energizer bunny on viagra and try as all my siblings and I might, we struggled SO bad to keep up with, feed, and take care of her. We took turns walking her, cleaning up her refuse, and showering ourselves of the drool, mud, and piss we were becoming one with. It was something we had never experienced before being entirely outdoor cat people for three or so years prior. Yet we adored her with a passion. Anyway, my 6 siblings and I grew up playing Rayman 3 and it was possibly our collectives favorite game that was "our thing". We used to take turns at the xbox after school or on "sick days", trying to get past the collective's current level. For whatever reason, we could not beat the very final step of the Bog of Murk, and so Clearleaf Forest and the Fairy Council were common reruns (one of us finally realized how to knock the stilt-walkers down with a green can and enter Razoffs Home). Well, this furball of lightning would not sit still for ANYTHING, for anyone; she HAD to run miles every day and she was only getting some laps in on our front yard every few hours, and she was very anxious. BUT, one day, as I was apt to do when severely depressed, (and this song especially is playing now as Im writing this 9:20), I played the Fairy Council music for her as well as for myself, aware of its quite otherworldly dreaminess, and LO AND BEHOLD ALL; Athena fell instantly into a calm demeanor and dozed off on my lap. It was pure magic. My family was in disbelief. And I kid you not, EVERY time I played The Fairy Council music for her, she would be still and rest like a babe from heaven, and give us some ounce of respite. We gave her to a much better home by the end of the summer, but I will always associate this music with her the most. Athena, I love you, I hope you are wonderfully thriving wherever you are, and may your dreams be as beautiful as this soundtrack.
I adore the first track with all my soul
land of the living dead ost was the best out of all the other worlds
damm what do I miss the times that eric chavelier made music for ubisoft
Yeah his style was on top
Agreed, his music is fantastic. But let's not forget Christophe Heral, both are amazing composers!
@@Skehrcros they are both great indeed!! :D Christophe's really some how know how to reinvent the wheel in crazy ways :o Although I have to say christophe music didn't grab me like eric's does. (I think it is because of the way eric does crazy things rythem wise, which is way more prominent in rayman 2 and tonic trouble if you ask me) but at the same time I can see why people love christophe music as much or even more! ;)
In my opinion I prefer this final boss over Rayman 2’s but both are great
Time for your first parachute jump! PARACHUTE NOT INCLUDEEEEED
The absolute fear I felt playing this section as a kid cannot be understated. That's probably why I never made it past this part as a kid lol
Heyyyy check it out its the Fairy Council [Soundscape]!!! If you're looking for action this ain't the place... wacky spinsters around here...

I love this game! I grew up with it.
desde cuando los 10 pesos son plataformas?
The transition from 3:00 onwards and then 4:44 is so amazing! Love working to the sound of this o.o" So f'in good!
every time when I hear ur rayman 3 soundscapes, my heart feels very warm, calm and nostalgic.. just a bit like when I was a kid back in 2003, after christmas.. damn.. there always came some tears. It’s incredible what the makers gives us kids back than with this games
I have an unique story to tell about this level and rayman 3 I had this game on Xbox back around when I was under 10 and I could never get past the first part of clear leaf forest. Yeah its embarrassing to say that I couldn't beat the waterfall climb, it was to hard for me to mash A as a kid... Eventually my disc got so scratched it couldn't be prepared, and I guess I didn't think to just ask if I could buy a new copy of the game, because I was hell bent on fixing my old one. Most games I would forget about and move on when I couldn't beat them as a kid, but this one was very different. the game left a Massive life lasting impression on me, that first level and Rayman's unique vibe and look were so impactful on a scale that other games never accomplished before, I was so invested in this phantasy world and these phantasy characters alone that I made it a never ending goal to finish the game. It took me years. but I finally got the HD version on Xbox 360 and finished the game! Then soon after I grab the game on other systems to boot, specifically a new copy for the OG Xbox, finally filling that promise I made all those years ago. before getting the HD release, I played origins and legends, and doodled in raving Rabbids, so I already was a big fan of Rayman. but Playing Rayman 3 was the most enchanting experience I had in a while. Rayman is one of my favorite game series and Rayman 3 is one of my favorite games, Its atmosphere and world alone is one of the most beautiful things I've seen in gaming, and I've been Playing it ever since. I was thinking of getting my original copy fixed as a sentimental piece, even though the case is missing. the fairy council is so magical and nostalgic that it stuck with me for ever since then and hasn't disappeared.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that struggled with the Clearleaf Forest waterfall as a kid. Now when I replay it I'm thinking "Oh no, this part...Wait, it's already over?" I also finished the game pretty late too despite playing it when it was new, I got up to one of the last levels where you're driving the hovercar with Globox and I gave up on it for many years and didn't beat the game properly until about 2011, so around when Origins was about to come out. This game really has an unmatched atmosphere, style, soundtrack and is still fun to go back and play. It remains one of my favorites to this day!
I love how even the most standard Rayman levels are still filled with magical wonder and unique nature, clear leaf forest is really enchanting but almost in a way where it knows it and doesn't over blow it to really drive it all home. I wish all forest/grass levels could be this memorable
Dude. I don't need to even say much honestly. the funky board levels are so memorable and cool they speak for themselves KILL EM ALL!
What
I think Ramen 3: certified hood classic had a very good understanding of surreal dream like locations, more so than most games. your surrounded by phantasy creatures and impossible structures, with texture that's almost paint like. but I think it comes together with how convincing it all is, this feels like a real believable location with how it all comes together and not just a bunch of crazy absurd stuff squished together to make a haphazardly fake world. Rayman understands the real, in the surreal
Well stated. The world design is unparalleled.
ramen 3 is very tasty i wish ramen 4 came out
@@Chris-sm2ujI prefer Ramen Origins, taste legendary
@@dumbotv3820 Are you sure it's Ramen Origins that tastes legendary, not Ramen Legends?
@@lance499 Nah, Ramen Legends taste original
This is the part of the game I think taps into real Rayman 2 territory with how terrifying it all is. the hoodlums are goofy most times, but they are a big threat due to how fast they populate the glade of dreams, almost every level in the game have multiples structures built by them, at the rate of how fast they produce and build over the lands, there a bein that must be stopped at all cost and as fast as possible. Hoodlum headquarters is what the game was building to, the full picture of what the hoodlums aspire to turn the world to, a lifeless land of lava and mechanical contraptions that do nothing but capture innocents and produce more hoodlums. a world of production, for the sake of more production, everything is the same with no location different to the other, the complete opposite to Raymans world. its kind of like how Ubisoft works these days more assassins' creed, for the sake of more assassins creed. lol
Underrated comment,in 13 years that I know this game I never tought of how dangerous hoodlums really are and how much they can change the rayman's world...I really like your comment
Ahaha it really is! Plus, this is when the whole dark comedic element of Rayman 3 was at it's best too IMO, what with the part where you have to beat the shit out of cutouts of yourself just to progress, or the Hoodlum who legitimately just sees no way out and shoots himself in the head. The later half of Rayman 3 really did feel like a true successor to 2 in my opinion, dark, scary and hilarious all at the same time.
I love how they shadow drop the of "THE LAND OF THE LIVING DEAD" a whole level before you get there, purposely dropping you in a murky swap before hand, giving you time to imagine a more evil and scary world, like the cave of bad dreams. but your expectations are subverted when you arrive, and its easily the most beautiful land in the series up to that point. but it makes sense, the land of the afterlife should be peaceful and avoid of fear and harm, a place of rest for those who lived long or didn't last. the land of the living dead is the past ones place to rest in peace.
"Rayman, you truly are the best"
21:23 - Always gives me Rayman 2 vibes... So cool to see the entire arc... Love these Rayman 2 and 3

You can hear there an ambience from some Rayman M/Arena maps.
