This piece resonates with me. It is so my style of sculpture. Every scrap, ort, twig is a component, nothing is trash. My family makes fun of me for the things i save and use. There is beauty in combining loose threads, wrappers, dryer lint, and even my dogs baby teeth, lol! You outdid yourself with this one Sister-friend!
oh we can figure out how to make yumminess out of about anything! thank goodness!!! 🩲🩲🩲

@@lorrimarie2002 I'm struggling to get back into art since all the Christmas crafting. I have got birthday cards made, which is better than I did last year. Life is very full on right now. Despite the lockdown, the school remains open for key worker's children & the vulnerable ones. So I'm still cleaning to keep 58 safe everyday + 8 staff members. Usually I clean-up after 124 children, but I don't have to clean their chairs, whereas, now I'm cleaning all 124 because I don't know for sure which chairs have or haven't been touched. Better to be safe than sorry. It's hard work, but worth it. At least I am self testing twice weekly for Covid-19 & it's half term next week ! Yay!! 😁 Keep safe. ❤🇬🇧

Wow! I'm really taken with this assemblage. I especially like how you referred to the "energy" of the stopwatch/pocketwatch in the center in how it was displayed and the texture it would add as it lifted out of the frame. That really struck me the right way. Thank you!

Wow, that's awesome! Just wondering...why the wax? Does that grunge the pieces more or is that to protect them?
the wax actually gives the pieces a romantic, eerie appearance...the wax takes the 'newness' off the pieces...i love the effect...thank you so much for asking! go create, go play, go have fun june!
