Me too. I guess it's because with most kicks its sideways but with front kicks you're using the underpaert of your legs the hamstring which is mostly not felxible at first
@@lalchungnungaralte9104 exactly, there's much less hip rotation, more front abs, hamstring, and a few other weird muscles that we aren't used to using like that so it's hard to get a full extension
I train at home, front kick is my favorite kick and i always practice kicking with the heal, i even did it in a street fight against a guy who was bigger and taller then me and he flew back and fell on his back. I kicked with the heal.. that's why i don't understand why there are so many videos about this but everyone say it's better to kick with the "ball of the foot". I don't think that if i kicked that bigger guy like the guy in the video does he would have flew back like that 🤷
It might not be adjustable depending on the bag you buy. most adjustable bags have a grove in the base that locks the bag in place. so if you twist and pull up on the bag it should come off
Try it then, and see. You will break your knee...when you hit with the ball of your foot you ankle kinda bounces and takes the hit. If you hit with your heel it won't move and the impact can break your knee over time. Dummy. Can't you see. Hey. If you were serious about not knowing you shouldn't use your heal and couldn't figure it out on tour own..go get some help, your mentality to young to have a RUclips account. Go see somebody many so to school. And don't try kicks, until you have permission from your 1st grade tutor :)
I am sorry, I just read your comment again... And I understand you didn't mean kick with your heal, But I spent to long writing to delete it. @@tasman655 You also have to kick higher to connect with it. The longer time and higher position gives a bigger window for someone who sees it coming to grab your foot and give you a whole new set of problems. It's a lot safer to reset a blocked toe kick -- it's only moving away from the opponent. Retracting a heel kick, however, has to bring your whole foot down past them. I'd only go for a heel kick over a toe kick if I had a safe window to do so, not if I just wanted to add more power to any old kick.
A front kick to the head is i.m.o pretty useless. It's against all laws of physics. You can see in the clip that there is no great power in the front kick to the head compared to the kick to the middle of the body. Before reaching the head you will get stuck in the middle part of the body. Only if the opponent is leaning forward and offering me his chin I can kick his head.. i guess that doesn't happy very often ;-)
I’m still pretty much a beginner, so I very much appreciate the tip of using the defensive front kick to stop the bag from moving.
idk why I find the front kick a lot more uncomfortable and difficult to achieve than side kicks or even spinning kicks.
hmm ur pretty weird
i though i was the only one

I have been making notes to teach using your videos... THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very informative teaching us about the proper distance. Arigatou.
I think this is the best kick ever so I thought I would see how to improve it.
Very well done my friend
Real good video. Ofc there’s excercises you can do to increase power and flexibility
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
that was a good video and front head kick
That instapwn shit is how you get hacked. Report^^^
U can actually strike w your heal for more blunt force trauma then a push and u should also bring your knee up a lil

Kicking with the heal feels much more powerful to Me.
Of you do front flip do you use right or left
I believe those are push kicks.

How do you set height of floor bag...I’m using the everlast one. I’m 5’9

I still can't understand, why wouldn't you hit with your "rear" foot, when there is more energry transfered from rest of your body + its huge bone.
Try it then, and see.

Why not kick with the heal?! Everyone say but no one says why..
it's explained in this video ruclips.net/video/D01r29wCzwI/видео.html
Try a slight hip pivot before making contact.
I used this kick on a guy in the real world a while back. The person will go flying so make sure you don’t do it on concrete.
Why not the heal? Surely if you can strike the chest or sola then the heal if more effective
I thought that was a thrust kick? I might have them confused tho.
Striking with the heel reduces your speed but you gain power. Both toes and heels are valid, context and location will determine what’s better.

Wrong technique, you need to put your hand down when kicking
