This fight training video teaches different kinds of front kicks including snap kicks and push kicks.
Lyoto and Chinzo Machida are accomplished mixed martial artists who have represented the UFC and Bellator MMA promotions. This is an excerpt from MACHIDA FRONT KICKS available from DynamicStriking.com.
Dynamic Striking was started by a pair of black belts (Bernardo Faria & Michael Zenga) who feel that nothing is more important than improving your striking skills as much as possible in the least amount of time. Their aim was to create a shop for students interested in striking who don’t look at mixed martial arts as a sport - but as a lifestyle.

Machida with that crazy snap kick knockout! If you haven't seen it check it out. Pure art
🔥
Love this! Keep the uploads coming.
Great to see the different variations. And we know this one works in a fight at least by one of these guys.
Best, simplest, explanation of these two kicks I've ever seen.
Also: Bring your kick back as quickly as possible in order to avoid the kick from being captured by your opponent.
Good Vid!
Thx
love the front snap kick however make sure you have great flexibility in your calf muscles to fully extend your foot back. otherwise unfortunately like me the snap kick snaps your toe 😫 great videos dude keep em coming!
I have this condition thats messed up my feet, my toes barely move so i can't pull them back to stab in a snap kick. When i was a teenager i started doing martial arts, and did the usual front kicking the pads held by the instructor. Man, i used to mash my toes up bad. Hurt so much i had to change it to the push kick. Years later the instructor tells me that if he had known he would have let me wear shoes in the gym. At the time i am pretty sure he just thought i was soft haha
@@MrSoggyjocks some of these coaches should never be coaches! try using a resistant band to strengthen your flexors (toe muscles). you can also try and angle your foot outwards and use the heel, but it requires even more flexibility 😁👍🏻👍🏻

The impact point in snap kick is the ball of the foot, for many karate style. However, in some Okinawan Karate style, I think, the toe and little toes of the foot are the impact point. The smaller the impact point the, the smaller the impact area that will resist the impact point of the kick so that it can almost penetrate deep into the body. those using combat or steel-toe shoes can use the toe of the shoes as impact point targeting the floating ribs or kidney area or the bladder area when kicking the front snap or roundhouse kick.
Unless you have shoes, your toes will be break if checked with elbows or knees
@@erasylnash6697 Those Okinawa traditional practitioners train their toes to be weapons too, they even use them for head kicks😨
The Muay Thai legend skarbowsky has an awesome teep technique. He snap kicks the middle of the waistband with his toes, kicking the bladder. Ruthless
Very Good .. from Egypt
🤗🥊
