    This is a fun video, and I'm impressed by how difficult it is to annoy you. 🤣 "On accident" made me laugh out loud - it is an American thing, and it annoys me, too. Since I'm American, I have to listen to people say it in conversation, as well as read it in books. Thank you for sharing!

      Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only person it annoys, although I'm very sorry you have to put up with it in person.

    I totally agree about the spoilers. For me, it's also because I mainly read in English, which is not my first language. With some books, it's actually better for me to know what happens beforehand, so I can focus more on the details.

    Great answers. You seem very laid back and don't get over annoyed at little bookish peeves.

    i'm with you on spoilers sometimes helping me enjoy a book more! i can get overwhelmed by "riveting" plots to the point where i'm not really interacting with the writing anymore

    I agree about hardbacks. I wish every book was released as a trade paperback first.

    • @aaronfacer

      Yeah, I'm sure a paperback's more accessible price point would work wonders for a book's sales in the initial weeks of publication.

    Great answers. I think you are quite a difficult man to annoy. You always seem so calm 😊. I was far more ranting in mine 😂. I agree very much on the hardback/paperback publication dates. I find that infuriating.

    Hey thanks for the tag- I love how mostly you aren’t annoyed- I saw your thumbnail and thought - he’s so gracious and easy going I don’t know what he will say - ha! I too love deckled edges! And I do love books with others notes- on yes except library ones good point!

    Interesting tag - I agree with a lot of your answers. Yes, I wish new releases were always available in paperback. For example (as is true for me recently), if I'm collecting a series in a trilogy I enjoy, and I have books 1 and 2 in paperback. Then the final book is released, and I have no choice but to get a hardback edition which is more expensive and doesn't match the set (and I don't have the patience to wait another 6-12 months for the paperback!)

    • @aaronfacer
      @aaronfacer  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, it's really annoying isn't it. I wonder if book sales would go up in the first few weeks of publication if they were initially released as paperbacks....

    Your bookshelves tell me you are a true book person. An extremely rare creature. You read. You know how to curate your books, and you are not a snob who only judges by the cover.

      Ooh, interesting. The plot thickens! I wouldn't be surprised if there was some common factor between all of those books.
