Let me commend you on the hours & hours of mowing, clearing, cleaning, polishing & primping... the huge amount of time (frustration) spent on research into each project, that you make look so easy but we all know it isn't. Learning new technology in a new country, the days/nights spent recording/ editing excellent videography with interesting angles & carefully matched video/ storytelling, more editing, music etc. A fabulous trip down memory lane of your incredible journey to date. You have made tremendous progress in the restoration of the château and its grounds. Reality is when we think about a job its "just......" and leaves out all the steps, material availability problems, and unseen issues discovered in the doing required to finish that "just" job. Well done!

I think the château is head and shoulders above what it was on move in day. I'm lucky to get Spring cleaning done on a timely basis. LOL. 👏 💐 🥳 👏 kudos to you both and the wonderful talented friends you have over there helping. I'm envious.

You may feel like you didn't do much in a year, but being with you both since I first saw you on Chateau Diaries, WOW, you both, along with friends, accomplished so much. I, for one, will give you a pat on the back and high fives. You have also been very kind and supportive to me. That, I will never forget. I am still having a lot of pain and discomfort, but I am able to handle it. I am leary about taking anything stronger than tylenol, but I do succumb to needing and taking the hydromorphone sometimes. I find it doesn't help that much with the pain, and it makes me groggy. We have a lot of gorrest fires in Canada now. In Btitish Columbia, we have 80 active fires and 22 out of control. Thankfully, today, we have some rain, and I hope this helps the fires. Our hospital here in Surrey is all over the news. Patients are waiting 90 hours before being seen by a doctor, and many are sleeping on the floors in the hallway. The government is allocating 78 million dollars to help our health care system. I consider myself very lucky for the care they gave me. I look forward to each of your vlogs, and as always, I wish you much joy and happiness. Lots of love to you both. Peter.❤❤❤

@@patrickjourneytothechateau9452 I worked construction for 10 yrs as a metal framer. From setting up your tools to project and clean up is major work. You guys also have yard clean up planting and mowing. Plus of course your puppies. That's huge. The smartest thing you did right off the bat was getting those dogs fence in and safe. Made everything a lot easier and less stress full. Love your kitchen. I see a touch of America in there. We in the USA do love a kitchen with space and plenty of cabinets. I am curious about how you will accommodate an Americans taste for BIG closets. That's one thing they have never gotten right over there. Love you guys

You may feel like you didn't do much in a year, but being with you both since I first saw you on Chateau Diaries, WOW, you both, along with friends, accomplished so much. I, for one, will give you a pat on the back and high fives. You have also been very kind and supportive to me. That, I will never forget.
I am still having a lot of pain and discomfort, but I am able to handle it. I am leary about taking anything stronger than tylenol, but I do succumb to needing and taking the hydromorphone sometimes. I find it doesn't help that much with the pain, and it makes me groggy.
We have a lot of gorrest fires in Canada now. In Btitish Columbia, we have 80 active fires and 22 out of control. Thankfully, today, we have some rain, and I hope this helps the fires.
Our hospital here in Surrey is all over the news. Patients are waiting 90 hours before being seen by a doctor, and many are sleeping on the floors in the hallway. The government is allocating 78 million dollars to help our health care system. I consider myself very lucky for the care they gave me.

@@patrickjourneytothechateau9452 I worked construction for 10 yrs as a metal framer. From setting up your tools to project and clean up is major work. You guys also have yard clean up planting and mowing. Plus of course your puppies. That's huge. The smartest thing you did right off the bat was getting those dogs fence in and safe. Made everything a lot easier and less stress full.
Love your kitchen. I see a touch of America in there. We in the USA do love a kitchen with space and plenty of cabinets. I am curious about how you will accommodate an Americans taste for BIG closets. That's one thing they have never gotten right over there. Love you guys
