Sweet Victory, Shidiye And Leshore Make A Comeback

For the first time in the history of Kenyan elections, people living with disabilities had the opportunity to be nominated into parliament and the senate without going through the rigours of the campaign trail. But Sammy Leshore and Mohammed Shidiye who suffer paralysis chose to step into the ring to fight against able bodied men and women. And they beat them. Sylvia Chebet caught up with the two men now Senator elect and MP elect to tell us the story of their political journey.
