2 weeks ago I have purchased the q30 for £59 a great price. I noticed immediately the big difference again my old beats solo Pro. However I saw in amazon Italy the q35 for £77. In my short experience with q30 they are so great, yesterday I wore it for 3 hours in a bus journey and I felt pain in my ears in the end. Q35 really feel so different and confortable. I definitely will return the q30
Interesting. Even though there was less background noise in the mic test with the Q35, it sounded worse, in my opinion. It sounded like he was behind a wall or something. The Q30 sounded clearer, but had more noise.
Yes this is very interesting. For me mic from to q30 sounded clearer. I have a problem.. q30 vs. Q35 or something else ? Microfone is too important for me.
I own both of these, and I would probably add one more comparison to the two. I do find the Q35s to have a little bit better ANC than the Q30s. Not a dealbreaker for the Q30s, but it is slightly noticeable. They do both sound great and I love to choices for the preset equalizers in the app based on the type of music. If I had three cons they would be, the weight distribution is weird for me. When I turn my head, I can feel them swing on my head because the weight is on the outside of the cups. I also find the Smart Wearing Detection to be very inconsistent. Either it takes a while for it to detect you’re not wearing them, or it doesn’t work at all. I wish I knew exactly what triggers it. Finally, the other thing and I talked to customer service about this, is that the volume on my Q35s will take a life of its own from time to time when listening to music. Meaning, the volume shoots up for no reason at all and then tries to correct itself by lowering itself very low. It's very odd and will scare the hell out of you when it happens. It requires a full reset of the headphones. I never see any of the reviews mention this. Maybe it's just my pair? Nonetheless, they both sound great. Clearly, there are better options out there, but a pretty good bang for your buck.
Excellent review! I have the Q30 and they are excellent value for the money. In terms of their overall sound quality and built, they get very close to much more expensive headphones. The Soundcore app is pretty good, easy to use, with many equalizer presets and the possibility to customize your own sound, which is great.
I'll get the q35 to listen to Dubstep ofc everything else too. I had many Soundcore speakers like 7 different once and I currently have the Motion Boom Plus and Motion Plus they're epic but I never had Soundcore headphones. :o
Another big difference is LDAC support. There are some who would pay the extra $40 - $50 just for that. Do you notice a difference when it is on or off on the Q35s, or on on the Q35 vs the Q30 not having it? I'm an android phone and tablet user so I would take advantage LDAC. It definitely makes a difference connecting to a standalone DAC, even with Bluetooth. I'm wondering if the DAC in the Q35 is good enough for LDAC to make a difference in sound quality.

Nice review. I purchased the Q35's believing they were going to be a upgrade. I sent them back after 2 days. The wear detection was so bugged I had to actually disable it. It was turning my music off every 30 seconds or so. Aside from this major issue, I just didn't see them as a upgrade at all, over what I already had.
Great review! Man, I can't decide. I have them both and I think that the deeper ear cups may push me over to the Q35s. I can feel my ears touching the ear cups on the q30's and they also seem to get hotter faster. Honestly, other than that, I'd go with the Q30 to save some scratch.
I bought my q35's at just 75 dollars, so i can't complain, the only thing i didn't liked at all was the bass, is really strong for my taste, but out of all, i really love the sound
How do they sound when connected via 3.5mm cable? I use my headphones via cable connected to a PC the whole day & only use Bluetooth after hours, so even cable quality matters alot to me.
@@stilivin Hey man, I have the Q30's and I can tell you: noise cancelling actually works when you're using the aux cable! You have to use the noise cancelling button, to switch between normal, noise cancelling and transparency, just like when you would do when using bluetooth.

Ldac support as well as the better microphone quality and the auto on and off feature, there are other videos that show the difference in mic quality much better than this and it's extremely different. Idk why in this vid the mic quality was pretty much the same but I could say for sure that the mic on the q35 is much better.
I'm looking for clarity, details and clear vocals and instruments. Are the drivers upgraded from the 30's to the 35's? I know ldac helps with that a little bit too

The Q35 earcups fit on Q30 but they are only available in blue and pink (Aliexpress) so if you have Q30 in black it looks a bit weird, depending on taste.
I believe that the Life Q35 and the Life Tune Pro are the same headphones. As far as I can tell the Life Tune Pro we're renamed specifically for Costco. Is that where you saw them?

No one ever points out the earpad construction difference. One is glued and the other looks stitched.
Which is which?
Some people say the base is too much! How to reduce it! Got the pink 35s for Mother’s Day!

You can decrease the bass in equaliser within the app. Make sure to put 100 Hz slider all the way down to reduce bass.

ANC works with 3.5 mm cable plugged?
No

On the early Q30s, ANC works with the cable plugged in. On the later versions of the Q30s, no. On the Q35#, yes.
Can u go for a run with the q35s?
When I tried to run with them, they slipped off my head somewhat easily.

Try updating the headphone firmware using the soundcore app. That might fix it, unless they mess up the firmware.
