When you realize that Reze wasn't actually going to return until she saw the flower and realized that Denji also donated some money to that girl for the sake of those children and got the flower just like her...it makes it thousand times more painful

A stab like that wouldn't kill denji, who is also a tranformation devil just like the katana and bomb devils. These devils reach their full potential when combined with a human, creating something so durable that it's basically immortal. That's what Reze and denji are.

Having sympathy, Reze decided to go back to the cafe to meet Denji , it's actually sad when you figured it out
Truth man, when you meet someone that had almost same bad experience as you, your heart would've move since he/she probably the closest person that could understand you pretty well and make you feel like he/she is the one that God send to you for compensation after all the bad thing that happened in your life before. I think this arc is pretty damn well written and the most meaningful arc of this manga 🤧

When 2 people grew up or went through similar environments, theres just a sense of connection or comradery altho quite small. These 2 just want normalcy.
This reminds me of when himeno died. Aki didn't realize how much he cared and loved her until he saw her die. He didn't want it to happen again to people he cared about. They were both in love imo but aki never showed it. When reze died, she realized why she didn't automatically kill him she realized the care and love she got for Denji. She didn't realize until she was "killed." They all deserved so much better.

What makes me tear up with this scene isn't reze's death, it's the last panel where denji holds the flowers. Sad that all only thing he'll know is that reze never came and stood him up.
i like the subtle detail of drawing in color as she approaches the cafê as it shows how her life was going to get better until makima showed up where the screen goes back to being dark and drawn without color .

AVINASH It's kind of hard to say whether or not she'd beat Reze if she had the chance to transform though since hybrids are extremely hard to kill in their devil form. To say nothing of whether or not Denji also joined in.
