Was it good sure, but if you just looked at the animation and you know a bit about how animation is completed you would notice the huge glaring cracks.
Let's be real, only episodes 11 and 18 were actually unfinished, the rest of the animation was well-polished. The problem is the horrible treatment of the animators of JJK season 2.@@TheJefferson1998

Absolutely! Given what we know about Fujimoto this is the kind of thing that would probably inspire him to try even harder with how own work.
I love the fact that at 0:36 when Makima is dancing alone, after she is interrupted by Power she looks annoyed and does the "bang" hand sign, but at 1:28 when Power is dancing alone and then she is interrupted by Denji, she is happy and goes to him in order to dance together. This speaks so much about their characters.

The way her foot LOOKS like it's about to come down, then hovers for a beat before coming down with the cymbal tap is perfect. It's so satisfying.
I actually KEEP coming back to this one specific shot. The physicality of her momentum carrying her into the frame with her ready to stomp down, her stabilizing herself with the other foot and the forward foot rising back up slightly, then stomping back down as originally expected, is entrancing. It's an excellent usage of expectation subversion, then delayed gratification of that expectation. All on beat with the music, but in a strange, jazzy, syncopated way that doesn't even seem like a dance -- just Power moving in her own bizarre, overexcited motions.

0:22 - The little squiggly line and Denji’s eyes and head turning to pan where Makima is is a very cool lead for the viewers, and I love how the camera doesn’t move in a straight line to zoom into Makima, but rather comes to her face in a sweeping motion; it makes it really interesting to look at and gives focus on the suspicious red flesh at her feet!
0:33 - Denji’s hand coming back in color as he reaches out for Makima must be symbolism for something, maybe how she gave him meaning in his life in his perspective, and a super cool way to show it!

0:44 - The cat and dog interactions are so on point, like, this is the most cat animated cat I’ve laid eyes on with that hiss, it’s so great. Also, the camera angle where it’s just their feet showing off the animals is really cool to me. Even when the animals first come on screen, their faces aren’t show yet, and you don’t need to understand what’s going on, which is especially shown with Power kicking Denji’s leg - we don’t see their face but Power is obviously mad at Denji and the kick gives him pain. Just a really fun angle to explore!
0:57 - HELLO??? THIS SEQUENCE??? IT HITS SO HARD Denji hits the screen, blood drips from the injury, he goes to wipe it off and IT WIPES THE VIEW FOR THE AUDIENCE AND SHOWS MAKIMA. That wipe is so good. I want to eat it.
1:00 - I don’t know what else to call the technique except ‘color glitch’ but it really shines in this scene! It reminds me of the animated Spiderverse movies
1:08 - The way Denji ate this finger made it looks way too delicious for comfort 😭 It looks too tasty
1:10 - WOW THE EYES LITERALLY JEWELS The blink into the next was super smooth, and the lyrics warped in the eyes like a reflection are an excellent touch.
1:19 - THIS SPIN IS EVERYTHING!!! That tap into frame and the swish SO LOVELY
1:23 - The sequences with Power are so wacky I love it so much
1:29 - Power jumping from the background to the foreground is SO COOL. The movements from the dancing is SO FREAKIN GOOD and the way they become little dolls tethered in Makima’s grasp is just **chef’s kiss**
1:38 - The incorporation of the Black Widow video is really well done, and doesn’t detrack from the animation at all. In fact, it really adds to Makima’s eerieness! I love how Kobeni walks in like it was a holographic screen on a sheet.
1:50 - This telephone animation was really cute and showcased all their characters while still following the lyrics.
2:00 - The tonal atmosphere shift is really cool, all the red and the shining chains really solidifies the villain aspect.
2:10 - Denji eating another thing so deliciously, even with his head cut off 😭 call back tomato
2:14 - This glitch was super creepy, excellent job at giving goosebumps
2:18 - The ending credit words changing with the music was just the cherry on top instead of just a black screen.
