    This reminds me of my late mother. I graduated from high school in 1981. I used to get home from school about 3:20 and my mom would have GH on. No way she would let me turn the channel. After a while I would just sit and watch with mom. After a time I got interested in the story. I knew it wasn’t cool for a guy in those days to watch a soap but it was so darn good it just grabbed your attention. After I graduated school I stopped watching but will cherish the memories of watching GH with my mom for a few years after school.

    GH was at its best when it focused on characters like Laura and Luke, Bobbie, Heather, Scotty, Lesley, Rick, Alan, and Monica, Robert, Edward and Lila; with Steve, Jessie, Audrey, Lee, Gail, Ruby, and Dan as the tentpole characters who were seen regularly (even if they were not always at the forefront of the story). Each character was an individual with their own strengths and weaknesses. Introductions to new characters such as Noah took place gradually and naturally. The dynamics of the GH workplace family were one of the show's greatest strengths for many years. It's a shame that the better part of the last 20 years focused on too many mob-related stories.

    Oh how I loved the Bobbie/Noah s/l back in the day! It's what got me hooked on GH, and then I stayed because of Holly and Robert, Frisco and Felicia, Sonny and Brenda, and Robin. Things are different these days, but I can't wait to see how they wrap up the Cassadines, mob, Ryan, WSB stories if the soap comes to an end in the next few years.

      Gloria Monty was gifted at setting up the future. As Luke and Laura were leaving the program, she had already positioned Robert and Holly as the show’s next super couple. And when John Stamos (Blackie) was getting ready to leave, she already had Jack Wagner as Frisco waiting in the wings (he had already been on the show for a number of months as Blackie’s bandmate).

      If the soap shuts down at anytime; I suggest they show ALL the reruns for the next 60 years. 2 a day please. I doubt I will live another 20 years, let alone 60+.

      It’s a freaking soap opera. Do you even have the mental capacity to understand that the entire point of a soap opera was to create sexual tension on television for an audience of viewers?

    • @IrishTexan09
      @IrishTexan09 Год назад

      There is a huge difference between “hanky panky” and sexual harassment, with harassment being the key word!

  • @GianniHernandez305

    The scene starts with Rachel and Kendall having a conversation. Suddenly, they hear screaming from upstairs. Rachel mentions that the Hernandez-Sanfords are back in town. Then, they walk up the stairs and confront Gianni and Shea in a room. Rachel tells them to go to bed, and the scene fades out.
    The show's title, "Only," appears on the screen, followed by a scene at the Tapestry-Lavish Inn Hotel. Gina Holly and her daughters, Carrie Wellington and Lily Holly, are seen entering the hotel as pallbearers carry a coffin inside. Rachel comments on their return, and Carrie reveals that her ex-husband was driving the car. They exchange cold embraces, and the scene ends with shots of elegant women entering the hotel.
    The next scene takes place in Rachel's room at the Tapestry-Lavish Inn. Rachel wakes up from a nightmare and sees framed pictures of strangers in her room. She notices a sequence of numbers counting down and becomes anxious. She searches for something on the bed, grabs the television remote, and turns on the television. A rerun of the 1980s talk show "Attitudes" is playing. Rachel becomes distressed and starts screaming at the television. The scene ends with Rachel picking up a bottle of blue cleaning liquid from a cabinet drawer.
    I hope this summary helps! Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to add or clarify .

    Thank for this blast from the past!! Rick Springfield is still so handsome!! This Edward is not my favorite but Alan his son is looking good. When I was a young girl he was the Prince in a televised "Cinderella", now I see why.
    Bobbie was so gorgeous along with Laura beautiful young ladies. Luke wasn't as handsome as other characters, but he was a great actor and there was chemistry between him and Laura!!
