man that's fucking awesome, I'm on a repeat for last month with it. Not only the best ichika cover for me, more - it's really really great to listen as a song!
I'd just recommend having as much fun as possible with it - I'm not the best by any means, I didn't get to learn the proper fingering from any lessons, but I learned so much through trying to cover songs I really liked. Covering song after song revealed lots of chord patterns, harmonies, rhyrhms, etc... so just stick with it when it gets hard, figure out what works best, learn all the chords/scales, and eventually learning new songs becomes a lot easier
Hate to say it, sounds better on your piano. Much warmer and harmonious, sounds professional. Nitos tapping tone is a bit twangy and weak, especially once you hear it over his metal backing track. But I’ll still give him credit, kids good. But put it this way, I could hear your version in a pro video game or movie, but not Nitos track. Tapping sounds richer on acoustic guitar, bass, or Chapman stick.
Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed! Yeah, I wasn't sure how it'd turn out but I had a feeling there was potential for it on piano ~ Of course I just do it for fun, but thank you, I always try and make covers as good as I can
UPDATE: sheet music now available at flat.io/score/601ecff178a0610baf76ea0e-ichika-nito-sweet
