Lisa was spot on! 🎖️. The time when Barfi threw his shoe up at Jhilmil’s window was to remind her that he is Barfi cause in Childhood they knew each other. So when Jhilmil saw Barfi doing the shoe thing she was remembering a memory when they both were kids.

It’s directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. It’s a coming of age story about a boy and his estranged relationship with his father. Shot in sort of a neo-noir format. I am sure you will like it. Soundtrack is par excellence. Although to completely understand its sensibilities grasp of the language helps, nonetheless give it a whirl and see if you like it. Cheers
