I really don’t like the installation guide. If you answer the questions wrong, you hit a dead end that says, sorry the doorbell is not compatible. I want to be able to see the full requirements upfront without having to read a “choose your own adventure story”. If you don’t have a wired chime it dead ends… what if you don’t have a chime? Can’t you still install the doorbell, and just use the notification system? Or if you want to add a chime, it would be good to know what is compatible so you know what to install. It’s like Logitech would rather say tough luck if you don’t ALREADY have the proper set up.
Logitech’s installation instructions are not the best, but I was able to use your video & install with zero problems. Note, this is the 3rd doorbell I’ve installed & but the 1st one where the chime kit actually worked. Thank you for this video!!!!
Attaching the doorbell to the mount is a little difficult but once it locks into place it seems extremely sturdy. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxxHZwMa8CsRjYhf9s4W8w0Dwm47uytWOp I replaced my regular doorbell with this and hard wired it in, using my existing wires and mechanical chime. It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa
You mention your current mount that you have for your current door bell and it seems to fit perfectly! What mount is that? I need a little more angle to my camera view and this looks perfect. Any clue where I can get a mount like this?
Excellent, concise and informative video! This made the installation of my doorbell a simple process (I had an analog chime similar to yours). I am grateful that I found your video prior to installing this doorbell (although there is the compatibility check/installation guide online, your video detailed the process in a manner superior to the online guide). So far, the doorbell has performed flawlessly and it integrated seamlessly into our HomeKit. Thank you so much!
Hi guys. I have connected the wired circle view to my homekit via micro usb prior to mounting it to the bracket. After mounting it, i get this blinking yellow light instead of the blue light. Any ideas how to fix this?
Could 17 volts not be enough to make the chime connect? I'm going to try a 24 volts transformer. Everything is wired correctly. And I have a red light on the doorbell??????
Hello cloud u tell me how to reset the doorbell? Because I change the wifi device, and remove the doorbell on my HomeKit ,but I can’t add a new doorbell device in my homekit😢
Thanks Steve for this easy to follow video. I will be wiring my doorbell directly in the mains via a transformer 18v as we are in the UK and we don't generally have hard wired doorbells - at least for the last 30 odd years. The only stumbling bock was how to get the wires into the bracket - your video was super simple to follow - the logi setup guide sucks
@@rephd yup. been running it "test" w/micro-USB the past few days and everything works perfectly fine. i use homepods as chimes. only issue is having to mod the bracket so it fits with the micro-USB plugged it...
Do NOT Buy if You Live in the American Southwest! I just purchased and installed the Logitech Circle View Doorbell. It will be coming off as soon as its replacement (an Agara G4) arrives. Faith promoting rumor on the internet is that Logitech has addressed their doorbell's overheating issue. Don't believe it. Mine overheated by just after 7:00 this morning. It keeps cycling on and off. Fifteen minutes off to cool down, 15 minutes on, etc. If it were to remain installed, things would soon get worse. Logitech says it will only work at temperatures below 105 degrees F. I live in the Phoenix area, our temperatures routinely are above 100 degrees in the months of May - October, which means this video doorbell won't work reliably for almost half the year -- even if it is mounted in the shade! Logitech shouldn't be selling this for outside use. The number one requirement for a doorbell is that it is reliable. This one won't be for several days a year in most of the USA. In some parts of the country, it won't work reliably for months on end.

I took a chance and use your exact wiring set up for my home and I worked like a charm! Thank you
Thank you! The online install guide just wasn’t the best. This helped eliminate all my confusion.
I have two chimes in my house. How does this work with the chime kit? Do I even have to use the chime kit? Can I just use my HomePods as chimes?
Awesome video, thanks for showing me how to set this chicken up. I really appreciate it

Good night! I have a question, how i can put a other ring (chime)? I need a ring (chime)or sound in the kitchen but whit this sistem?
Good video. The wires on the back of the doorbell are funky. The manual is not obvious.
Thanks! This helped me get everything all set up. Cheers!
Excelente explicación.!!!! Saludos desde Venezuela.

Can you use your existing chime? Or do you NEED to connect the small on to the main one?
So my home has 2 chimes and 2 transformers operated by the single switch at the door. How do I install the Circle View?

Great video. Question. Do I need to set up the chime or can the doorbell work without that?
The doorbell will chime on your HomePods if you set it up. Then you don’t need an actual chime. Not sure how the wiring would work however
Literally excluded the only part of the install I actually wanted to watch this video for. Super great
I followed your instructions and I just noticed that the upstairs doorbell actuator seems to be trembling, what could I have done wrong?

What are your experiences with the Logitech Circle View Doorbell?

Is it possible to set this up by using a plug in wall adapter? For example in a house with non existing doorbell wires?
yes, it works via micro-usb cable as well

I started getting confused and frustrated. I had to stop for a minute and regroup. Your video was a lifesaver. Thank you!
I have that same front door chime setup box. I'm trying to locate the transformer to replace. where is yours located?
It’s usually in the basement, wired off of the home power in the ceiling.
Hi, it's weird. Why didn't u finish the job by testing it so that we can here the chime!!!!
There is zero space behind the doorbell to flush mount it did a 3 year old design it you always have a gap for the wire

Why are you rushing
Or you could just hire an electrician. Ladders and electricity kill.
This Low voltage bro you’ll be alright
Don’t be a wuss
WHY CAN'T IT JUST RUN OFF USB PERMANENTLY 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Useless
Why is your light blue and mine is red?
