About workouts… Workouts can earn you 12 XP per minute (720/hr) if the workout is all interval blocks. And you don’t have to go fast. I climb a big hill in an interval workout. At the end of the workout, I turn around and go downhill getting 20 XP/km . No you don’t get banner bonuses in workouts but you still earn faster in interval workouts unless you ride faster than 35 km/hr. Maybe not 780/hr but not bad if you are slow like me.
The new Sprinters Playground" route in Makuri Island is relatively flat, very short loop and has four Sprint banners. Get your XP on! Also, check out GPlama (Shane Miller) just did a video where he earned 1000XP by riding up the Alpe du Zwift in a workout, then road under the banner (and got the wheels which are an additional 1000XP), the zoomed back down on a TT bike at 60mph. Another consideration is just cranking out kilometers riding with Coco at 2.6 W/kg on a relatively flat route. This cranks out XP pretty fast and has the added benefit of 2.5 multiplier on drops (if you still need upgrades from the drop shop).
Just make an event at Crit City on The Bell Lap. It is a 2km route so no need to turn manually. I just made an event for myself and did 20 laps there this morning. That took me 1 hour and 14 minuts and got me 1000 xp. 2x 20 for the KM and 1x 10 for the lap. That is 50xp each round.
In Fuego Flats route go thru the sprint arch and head to the the first"western looking town" turn around after passing under the stone arch and head back to the sprint arch and keep repeating.
Check out my follow up video using a workout by creating custom intervals. I tried 3 different interval durations to experiment on how much XP can be gained per minute. Here: ruclips.net/video/Wa7tKDexPH8/видео.html

Is that route shorter than this one? I don't think it is?
@@cyclingboss469 there is no climbing on my route. And you can make thet turn around even sooner and still get the XPpoints from riding a TT bike.
how many xp you can earn for each back and forth ?
Thanks for the heads up.
You are welcome!
Thanks 😊
You are quite welcome. Happy Zwifting!
Can you incorporate a workout for extra xp?

Volcano Circuit 5 times is a 1000xp.
Thank you. I believe that I hit the banner more often with this shorter route and pick up XP faster.
