- Tuerck’d Season 3, Ep. 7: Professional driver Ryan Tuerck puts his new street Scion FRS to the ultimate test on a remote Vermont mountain road. Tuerck shreds all 2,000 vertical feet up the mountain pushing his 600HP engine to the limits. Fellow Formula Drift driver and BC Racing teammate Pat Goodin joins in for some sketchy tandem action in Tuerck’s black 1JZ S13 that’ll blow your mind.
Got questions or comments about drifting Burke Mountain or what’s under the hood of Tuerck’s new FRS? You can hit Ryan up in the comments below or at #Tuerckd on twitter and he just might respond to you in next week’s Burnout Response video!
Directed by Andrew Laputka/Shoot First Media, produced by Jacob Agajanian

that FRS sounds viscous! some amazing driving as well! Next time TAKE MEEEEEEE PLEASE :P haahahh
SLAAAAAAAPPPP!!!!!!!!Z
slapslap the slap slap
Slap you should definitely take your car down this mountain
Yo what is going on guys its ur boy the slaptrain!!!
Fancy seeing you here. Haha
The composure of Ryan is just out of this world. He looks just as relaxed as he would while watching tv or something, I'ts simply unreal.
There's something about the beautiful scenery of the mountains and your car screaming through the silence that makes everything right in the world. Hopefully we get to see you try some mountains out in Japan soon.
Loved the tandem run! Loving the FR-S too!
Yo! Tomcat!! :D
Melo Kix What's up! :)
Hey guys :D
I didn't know you were a Tuerk fan TC that made me like you a lot more than I already do keep up the good work
Tomcat
what i love about this is you can see most of it was his first drift run... and it was pretty much perfect!
Love it how he brought his two street cars into one video. Probably my favorite non-off seasons video so far.
I used to live less than an hour from there. Wicked sick mountain biking there, I been there a bunch of times, the restaurant in the base lodge called the tamarack grill is killer too. I never knew anyone drifted up the access road til now! Vermont has some awesome back roads for drifting, there are several notches through the mountains that are twisty, smooth and uneffected by frost heaves because they are not plowed in the winter, therefore the snow insulates the ground and doesn't allow the frost to go more than a foot down. Also lots of awesome dirt roads we used to rally on with Subarus and Audis. Finally Vermont is getting some recognition!
The SOUNDS of Ryan's car with the gorgeous serene scenery is AMAZING! On my 5th view & can't get enough. I want an FRS, though I know it won't be like Tuerck's!
"The hills are alive to the sound of brap brap brap!!"
So funny to think that i live 10 miles away from Burke, ski there 5 days a week in the winter. Yet i have heard of the rally race but drifting up Burke? Absolutely incredible, ill be looking for the tire marks in the spring.
Theres not too many of them ;)
I made snow at burke for 6 years and drove up that toll road countless times. What you can't see from the video is just how gnarly some of those drops are off the side of the road. What a maniac
That sound echoing through the woods makes me so happy inside
"The 86 is a cool car, it just needs more power."
Yes but you can still slide it stock.
Slide the 86 at 120 kph then you can say it needs more power. Your roads are too straight if you think it needs more power 😂
The whole video is very well made & i would really love to go on that road 1 day. My favorite part is when Ryan does donuts around & parks perfectly near the camera guy, says something cool then leaves in a cloud of smoke hahaha !!!!! Three thumbs up:)
Thanks for the support man.
Captain Plax oq
Something tells me that car isn't stock?
its not stock.it have a 2jz
r/wooooshhhstustustu
superb haha
better than gymkhana vids. the sound, ohh the sound. ill be back need to change some pants.
Tim Tselishchev Thanks for the love dude.
It's nice not seeing the evidence of multiple previous takes! *cough ken block cough*
Haha its exactly what I thought!
I do like Kens vids, but this just beats it!
Ryan usually does it in one take. Ive seen much more impressive vids from him and there is no rubber on the road prior to him killin it. Ryan is my fav drifter.
That's how you make a video, multiple takes.
Nick Provost
yea, if you're Ken Block.. how about you just setup multiple cameras to capture the one good run... geez, some people..
Frs is amazing Tuerck did a incredible job also the camera crew those angles and shots spectacular
If Tuerck had half the skill he has, he'd be ken block!
Ken block messes up a lot... Tuerk doesn't lol he may not do good sometimes but he's still good enough to get it killed in one shot
More like if he had kens bank account. Watch ken block race, He easly folds under pressure.
tubefed420
it seems like Ken Block is the type of person that goes all out but doesn't mind pushing the reset button every time he messes up.. meaning he doesn't learn anything. whereas Tuerck seems to be the type that learns from his mistakes, progresses and is getting even more consistent.. a natural.
Thats how it goes when you dont pay for your parts
This went straight over most heads, but I do see what you did there sir, and I commend you.
Tuerck's driving is just crazy. I'm amazed...
Another off seasons shoot!! I was hoping they would do another one like it. not as good as the s13 off seasons run but still. Sick.
Hey Ryan, I was wondering what your favorite place you have ever drifted off-track is, and what your ultimate dream drift road would be! Thanks for another great video, love the cars
I'm Literally 14 seconds into the video and I am already impressed, when the $5 appeared in the Toll box at 0:14
Man how much I love these 86
OP shreds smoother than butter over toast. Serious skill.
LOVE THE FRS PART! HOPE ONE DAY I GOT SKILLS LIKE U. FIGHTING!
Hell yeah, that's sick! Have you ever thought about doing a series where you teach someone to drift?
Loved the editing on this! Those cars are monsterous
The 1jz s13 looks cooler than the FRS, in my opinion :)
Team Lowsense your opinion is wrong.
Nah, Frs is too sexxxy
brought a tear to my eye :)
will forever be my favorite video
Perfect drift, wanted do something like that wanted get my first Scion FR-S, so become drift king. astounding video just speehless.
Tuerck wasn't that just you who I seen here on back mountain road in Vermont with that boosted silvia?!?! it had bright green numbers on the side and insane turbo too
i like how smooth he is on the wheel. Its like no effort at all.
WOW THAT CAR SHREDS THE STREET BY A STYLE AND SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Climb the Pagoda in Reading, Pa its short but its a nice climb a lot of clothes pin turns.
That was bad ass, Tuerck is still one of my favorite drivers, Gittin is the only driver I like more. I want to shred that mountain someday, maybe group drift tandem up the hill
The music for the videos is verily apropos, as it shreds as well as you your tires so. Do you choose the tracks? Also, where can we get a glimpse of the playlist? Tuerck'd compilation, perhaps?
There he goes...Tuercking up a mountain again....
I know this is old but can you guys point me to the video where you did the swap and maybe explain a little why you chose the 2jz/ frs combo (have had the same idea most likely for the same reasons but would like to hear your take on it)
These type of videos need to be played in HD to hear those engines roar.
Now that's fantastic driving!
love the fresh tracks
Tuerck'd: SLAY ALL MOUNTAINS
Excellent driving, well done!..
Hell yeahhh ! I missed that 1jz !
Glad to see her again ! 👌
man his so called street car will get you pulled over in a heartbeat in Cali. So much win.
rb264ag its registered legally though
yeah he doesnt live in cali lol
This is sooooo great, i love your videos! They realy make me want a drift car ;-) what do you think, bmw e36 325 or nissan 240sx. Like the inline 6 but also love turbo cars....damn choices.. :)
The 1j car will always be my favourite no matter what
I can't wait untill he Tuercks his FRS.
Fuck yea !! You guys should hit every mountain there is !!!!!😯😯😯😯😯. Keep up the vids!!!
Sebastian pho We are working on it one at a time. Thanks for supporting and watching
More of these videos please!
This dude is living life!
Hey Ryan, your 2JZ FRS sounds killer!
Can you tell the name of the exhaust system?
Ryan, what are your plans with the 240 now? Will you still use it as much? Or will this FRS replace it?
Tuerck is a straight savage man
What is the thing sticking out at the back of the FRS?
The exhaust is at the right hand side of the engineroom, so it's not that...
The body kit is mean looking. Is that the Rocket Bunny kit I've seen mentioned in a couple of other videos?
OOo very good drift!!
Love that smoke
Burnout response Q: I have learned to drift in an open diff, fwd, 1994 Buick century believe it or not, you're going to be seeing my name in FD rankings one day. Any final words? Big fan!! you're what got me into drifting 😀 great footage
Yay, Andy made it through an episode without crashing one of his drones
but he did crash Tuerck's mom's car during the shoot. so there's that.
This is truly badass.
Does the, what I'm assuming is a, 2jz setup not produce that much low end torque? I mean it seems like Ryan's on the rev limiter the whole way up the mountain.
love the sound of that limiter o.o
Seeing the Air Force emblem popping up here and there, i'm not in full service yet, (basic in this August), but i'm wondering what affiliation the Air Force has with drift.
The Air Force supports me in the Formula Drift series on my pro car and we wanted to show some love and support in these videos as well.
LEGEND material!
1:29 - 1:31 OOPS! Filming quad-Copter in the shot! Oh noez!
Siiick lomgboard road. Would love to race it.
1:34...Awesome shot.
Whats the song played at 3:04 ? :o
You should try mount Scott in Oklahoma
Tuerck how did you pass smog with 2jz in frs wanted to do that with an celica 2001 with 2jz But I live in California I don't think can pas smog any idea
Drift Alliance forever!
Cars aside, which road was more fun to drive, this one or the one from off seasons 2?
Damn, that front wheel setup! I need more information about your car, Mr. Tuerck. where can I get it?
We will be doing a walk around pretty soon.
What an amazing song!!! I JUST WISH I KNEW WHO WROTE IT. I THOUGHT THAT'S WHAT CREDITS ARE FOR?
LOLOLOLOL sorry bro! PAT BRYAN WROTE THIS SONG. And it is AWESOME.
ShootFirstMediaLLC
and that voice.. that voice is so angelic...
FRS's need to come like this from the factory.
Hey Ryan, what transmission in the frs? V161?
Were gonna have to start calling him #Onetaketuerck RyanTuerck
This is special
So SICK!
Is that steering lock stock or did you have to modify it? that's quite an impressive angle.
+Dick Pickles Not stock
+Pedro Amado Wise fab steering lock kit.
So awesome!
at 1:30 you can see the white drone filming at the bottom right of the screen
1 Word.
Beautiful
very enjoyable watch
Simply...its just a dream car
agreed
hey you have to come to Kentucky we go the craziest back roads 👍
Scion F-RS is one of my fav car but it looks sick in turquoise
Nice one Ryan!
With the massive hp, and impressive weight loss of all FD cars, do you guys put the engines in the "original" places? or u push them back a little to balance the car?
Cheers
Some engines are placed in the exact location of the previous ones and some are set a few inches back or forward, depending on how they want the car's weight distribution to be.
When are you and the homies coming out to Arizona !? Fuuuuuu we need a little west coast love man
Would love to man. It is cold as hell here in New England.
We've got warm afternoons and fresh nights man make the trip!
Timberline road next time my dude! Another sweet video. Keep up the good work
I'm keen mate. Where is Timberline road?
Timberline road is on Mt. Hood in Oregon! very snowy in the winter but the summer it's clear. It takes you up to Timberline Lodge. Very tight corners but after this video you could definitely get it done!
Ryan, what's it like to have a guy like Andy around that can film all of your awesome stunts and make cool videos of it?
How do you go about finding locations to film in?
This guy is so good, it doesn't look real
What’s the major difference between the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ and the Toyota GT86? They have the same body. All I can tell.
They are all the same
That evil sound.
Tuerck, how did you get into the "drifting world"? is it something more than just competing in various contests and being cool and stuff?
SO AWESOME!
