Fantastic video, I remember going to the Sydney Airport on the 1st of July 1991 to see the first Northwest Airlines 747-400 arrival. Before this date only one Australian carrier and one US carrier could fly between Australia and the US, so it was Qantas/Pan Am then it was Qantas/United.
