I've been looking into doing something like this when I get back to the Philippines too. I've been doing research for about 3-4 years.I'll have to stop by and check out your system!

Wonderful...Question: is hemp crops possible. It seems like this could be an ideal crop/ industry for many products....helping improve Philippines GDP

Hey man, I like your vision. I'd suggest that you switch them plant boxes to tilapia ponds vice versa for better tilapia production. If you worry about ammonia spike, put duck weeds on the ponds. Duck weeds serve two purpose, ammonia absorption and food for tilapia. Algae are also part of tilapia's diet so you dont need to worry about it. Tilapia poops a lot and I mean a lot. What you need to pay attention is how to make them poops transfer to plant box. I suggest that you use styrofoam instead of rocks so you can plant more. Nitrogen cycle will happen even without rocks plus more plant, better filter. Plants, fish, surface agitation. I'm not an expert by the way but I've tried it and worked for me.
