Henri is my unofficial guitar mentor and the tips he's given here and in person have helped me to play. I even earned my 1st buck busking by the ocean where I live and Henri graciously signed it for me when I saw him. He also signed my car. She was his 1st. ❤
Saw him last night. Incredible tone, his setup is legit tube amp breakup plus all the dirt he throws on top. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Didn't understand a lot of the amplifier related stuff, but the end result is awesome! So much respect for the effort Starcrawler put into everything they do. The songs are excellent, the video clips are fantastic, and their live shows go right off. I feel very lucky to have seen them live and up close twice. I was talking to a couple of other guys in the audience at their recent Melbourne show, and we all agreed we were lucky to seem them in a relatively small venue, because they should be packing out stadiums, and hopefully will be soon.

Good nod to Tom Petty, always loved his tone on Mary Jayne. His tone on the bends is insane.
It's ironic bc Tom and Mike Campbell have a huge pallet of tones which is there MO. Rickenbacker, fender, Firebird - whatever guitar, amp etc. they made the tone fit the song and vice versa. Same with Mike's solos - always fits the song, not a solo to solo.
if hes going to keep being very active & moving around so much onstage, that cord may be a problem one day.
