- In this video we visit the Majestic 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗟.
We had a lot of interest from our viewers to locate the area where members or some of the members of the Bolling family may have been layed to rest.

We know that the Bollings had a lot of affiliation with the Cathedral and had put a lot of resources in the Bolling Chapel.
I like to thank 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 (Director of Education and Visitors) from the Bradford Cathedral, who gave us some insight in to the Bolling Chapel.
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗟 (THE SOUTH AMBULATORY)
The Mason tomb that now stands under the window was used as an alter. The private doorway for the Bolling Chapel is now 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 up in the wall behind the memorials for the Vicars of Bradford and Headmasters of Bradford Grammer School.
The Roof is decorated with the arms of the Tempest Mitchell and Bolling families. This chapel and the Leventhorpe Chapel in the North Ambulatory were both dissolved when their endowments were seized during the Reformation.
The window, a memorial to Elizabeth Mitchell, depicts three Royal women: Queen Elizabeth of Hungary, St Hilda of Whitby and Queen Ethelburga of Northhumbria - three great saints remembered for their charity, wisdom and prayers.
