Both my grandma and my great aunt were cleaners here in the 80s we got a free pass to the Yorkshire show every year not sure the connection their but know it had some connections to the college

They don't half like knocking stuff down in Bradford.

Remember being based in Westbrook and the Old building in 1980/ 81 for what were my GCE 'O' and 'A' levels. Mostly happy memories mixed in with some less happy ones.. Thanks to the help of some good lecturers passed my exams.. I left Bradford many years ago so any chance you could follow this up with what is there now? Many thanks for uploading this video which brought back memories..👍

I love time-lapse footage, and this is great! When I was at Grattan we were sent to the Westbrook buildings in 2006 for a series of boring management courses, so there is a slight satisfaction at seeing them being torn down 😂

It was where I registered when I came to art college in1974.

I have no particular memories of the building myself .. my dear departed sister Carole Mclean did pass her NVQ in catering there in the late 70s .. Its sad to see the building go though .. its part of Bradfords history 😢

From the US, thank you so much for these videos. Sometimes I feel like my Ackroyd ancestors who lived there for decades are walking by my side. They were blacksmiths in Bradford throughout the 1800s.❤

Many thanks for another wonderful and thought provoking video. I have visited the Police Museum, it was an interesting tour, especially going up into the old crown court. Sadly the quotes about Bradford being infested with thieves and vagabonds rings as true now as it did then, though we do have significantly less riot drunkenness.

This building is majestic. £63 to make those figurines!!! Worth every penny. I didn't even know there was a Police museum. Interesting. 👍 One of my Uncles worked for Bradford Police in the 1950s/60s. The old police cells look ominous.
