Never scared me at all. The theater is gone (it’s an iPic now) but the sound still remains.

A couple years later, my parents were going to show me a Star Wars tape on the VHS, and when I heard tge sound beginning I started running out of the room so I wouldn't see the robot. A couple years later, after I have watched the prequel trilogy, (yes, I watched them in this order) I knew I had to endure the THX logo again because it was on that same tape from years before. However, when I saw the logo, there was no robot, and I was surprised! The sound still unnerved me though.

THX the Movie would be the best horror movie EVER lol
There actually was a contest of parodies THX themselves did around 2005-2007.
One of them was sorta like what you said...
"Ryan, where are we?"
"I don't know, Ella, but we cant let it find us he-"
"What's that sound?"
_mmmmmmnnnnnnnnrrrrrrr_
"We-we gotta go!"
*_rrrrRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA_*

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ok legit on 1:07 i thought my ps3 was turning on.
What’s that tune called in the beginning of the THX trailer / PS3 startup?
@@captainantilles9094 that's just an orchestra tuning up. Search on youtube "Orchestra Tuning"
Scariest one in my opinion
Lol I can relate
It does sound like the PS3 startup for a minute 😂😂
First saw/heard this as a 14 year old in 1983 at the old Avco Center Cinema in Westwood, CA...it was for “Return of the Jedi”, packed house, and all of a sudden this sound goes off and the crowd goes absolutely wild cheering. Never scared me at all. The theater is gone (it’s an iPic now) but the sound still remains.
I remember that when I was little, I watched the THX logo with the robot and it was the robot that scared me.
That’s probably because it was a different THX bumper
I thought I was the only one scared of the robot that wasn’t afraid of the sound
I’m likely one of the few 2000s people who doesn’t think that the THX intro is creepy. My favorite is 4:15. That pleasant C# chord is my childhood.
Was your favorite movie cars, that’s where that thx scene came from
0:45. WDYM THE AUDIENCE IS LISTENING with that creepy music aswell. The next one is just as scary
Yes this was my nightmare and I’m still scared of it 😭
clique
I remember watching Over the Hedge at elementary school and this appeared in that one scene. I nearly ran out of the classroom.
Michael Thom When I was in 5th grade, when we were about to watch The Incredibles, I hid in the bathroom for a while so I wouldn’t have to see or hear the THX logo.
I was scared of the regular thx logo but not over the hedge one
@ElectroChill Hex it didn't have it, but i'm talking about the logo literally IN the movie when all the animals are in the woman's house.
"Oh uhh that's the sound of my heart, mWAAAAAAAAAA-"
