1:22 I just got mine today and it doesn't spin like yours. I just have to turn it about 5 degrees and it locks into place. I guess Ulanzi listened to your comment.
Definitely liking this! Was looking for a portable light, and I think I might end up getting this over the molus x100 just because I can get more for the price.
Iv not heard anyone discuss how this could be a perfect eye-light with the dome attached at 1% Brightness. Something that's easy to have near the camera to create that ping of light in the talents eyes
I returned. The main reason is obvious green tint. I can not mix with other light. If you just use this light alone for content create. That is a good option. Really lightweight and small. But to mix with other light, this one has too much green tint.
You're not the typical caffeine-enhanced, pink and purple background, chipmunk on RUclips, but neither am I. I love your content and find myself watching whenever you pop up on my feed. I always learn something and am not stressed at the end of your videos. Thank you for creating these. I was considering buying this light due to its portability, but the discount makes itva no brainer. Thank you again. Light to be purchased. Your channel...Liked and Subscribed :)
@@Romafedorov I have this Ulanzi LT028 and SmallRig RC 60B. The fan noise from Ulanzi is quite high, i mean the noise level can be heard even from 2 meters away. I am going to buy another RC 60B and sell this LT028.
Please help me decide between the Ulanzi LT028 and the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 (or suggest a similar-priced option). I need a portable, lightweight key light which provide a softlight and smothing skin for videos shot on the bed in a 10-square-meter bedroom with no natural light. Thank you
@@Romafedorov Unfortunately the Ulanzi “mini” bowens mount has a circumference of 7.065 inches meaning its diameter is only 2.25 inches across. It isn’t even a true bowens mount that locks in place; the light modifier that comes with it just stays in place due to pressure. That being said there is nothing in the market to even adapt it to a regular bowens mount. I’m saddened to return this because it had so much great potential for $99! I’m the meantime I’ll keep waiting until something better arrives. Happy shooting everyone! P.S. Ulanzi does sell light modifiers at a reasonable price on their site for this item but at this point I just wanted to adapt the ones I already owned 🙃
It is such a shame it doesn't use USB-C for power and charging, would've been a perfect light then. This is literally what stopped me from ordering one.
@@Romafedorov the biggest benefit of this light I think is convenience, once they release a version with USB-C without external requirements, they will be very successful!
@@Romafedorov thanks a lot! I asked that because I saw a video that said that the cob overheat when it is used with the diffuser. Good to know that you did not have this problems. Greetings from Brazil!
What do you think about the new portable Ulanzi lights?
wow reviewing the product and at the same time teaching us using lights! you earn a sub sir!

The Molus will perform slightly better in color accuracy though..

I think it will for that just fine..

Thanks for sharing your experience! I agree about the green tint.

Hahaha that was a really funny comment. I appreciate the honesty, thanks! Glad I could help!
I have this light. Its been blinking when its not supported to
the lack of USB c charging slot / power by PD is a deal killer
I agree. I wish it had a USB-C port with PD charging! I’m wondering if there is maybe an adapter..
This one looks interesting. I do have a question though. If the light is kept 2 meters away, how noisy is the fan? I am using Sony ECM-B10.
It's fairly noisy when plugged in. In a quiet room, you might hear it.

Maybe you should buy a light with a Bowens mount and attach a small softbox? I use the COLBOR CL60M and it's great.
can it light up a whole room?
Yes, but it depends how bright you expose with your camera..
I just bought this but will cancel it because you said the bowens mount isn’t a regular bowens mount but something brand new. Shame
Yeah, that’s a bummer..
@@Romafedorov I’ve decided to keep it. I found a mini bowens to regular bowens adapter on Amazon and hopefully it will fit. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
Let us know if it did!@@fv3357

The reflector is not enough, we need a way to connect this to a soft box
I see an adaptor on the website would that fix the problem and make it able to use with power bank?
Yes.
wow, amazing ! i have to buy
Good! 7:28 was it with just one light? I see very soft shadows!
One light is lighting my face and the other one the background.

Yeah, USB-C would make this light almost perfect! I think Ulanzi is going to come out with an adapter. Hopefully...

Cool video mate! Question. What kind of lighting/setup are you using when you do a close up of the product and your hands?
AMBITFUL EF-100 + AMBITFUL 60x90cm softbox

i suggest you tofu light
Bro the light is so small I never want to take that reflector off
you can try tofu light
