It's harldy "fake" sound, it's the sound of your actual air intake!! Would be different if it was one of those electronic sound generators, those do sound crap.
Personally I like the throaty induction sound from my GT86
you can increase the noise if you remove the inlet cap. Pass side dash , behind the end cap.
100% agree with you. That sound amplifier Subaru/Toyota put in was a waste. BTW.... good to see you know how to sit, steer and shift.

I don’t like the noise inside my Toyota 86, I want to listen to music and have a conversation, but every time I go over 5k rpm, man! I just want to keep that sweet roar. IDK, I might plug it, I might leave it stock. What do people think about the pre/post?

Hi, didnt you get more of the wind noise sound because the cabin is now more quiet that you can hear the wind due to lack of car's insulation? Or is it fine and not annoying?

I agree with this too. Not to knock on the mod change but I actually like that you can hear the engine greatly. Test driving the new SI but it was pathetically quiet. The fun was gone. Gt86 default noise is great.

probably like 20%. cuts out a lot of the induction sound but that's about it

@@vonneo7079 I have an exhaust on mine so it's even louder than stock. If you want a quiet, luxury commuter car this isn't it lol
