Hay man I was wanting to buy some 18x9.5 +40 TE37SL’s for my brz but I’m on stock suspension and wasn’t sure how the fitment would look . I’m not going for perfect fitment like where I can’t fit my finger in I just don’t want it to look so huge like it is rn. This is my first car that I’m modding and I’m not too knowledgeable on this topic . Do you have any feedback ?
Yo whatup my dude, any 18s are gonna look like monster truck fitment on stock suspension-- I got an older vid on my channel that shows how huge the wheel gap is when I first put my wheels on. 18x9.5 +40 is also super tight clearance with the spring perch on the stock strut so you might have rubbing issues even on lowering springs depending on your tire. Basically I'd say get coilovers at the same time as the wheels to make it all easy. If you're into deep concave TE's System Motorsports has an 18x10 +44 TE37 SAGA that's face 4 concave in BRZ fitment (with coilovers).

i got same Coilovers and im now looking to put 18x8.5 +35 with 24/35R18 what u think is it too wide for stock power does it " kill " car?

thanks bro, the gram lights are nearly identical weight to the performance pack wheels, but they're way bigger. (18x9.5 compared to 17x7.5)
