Anyone seen the lady on the same boat in tears worried about her abilities a bit back? Guess she sold the boat as the one that has it now seems to take everything in her stride with a pretty good finish with a more than a happy smiley face. Seems they have the same partner as well? All very strange. Keep it up you, as it is all coming together nicely and both of you have a great New Year

You’ve done a great job of the Fireplace, impressive.
Sailed past your boat a couple of times in September, paint job and new windows look really good. Keep going you’re nearly there and doing it to such a high standard.

You could also try piping the grout into the corner like icing. Just nip the corner off a ziploc/sandwich bag.
Just use your finger.

We got our bathroom floor tiles from the same place, they look almost identical to yours. You have great taste, it looks amazing and the boat is going to be stunning.

regards to the grout in the corner, use a plastic zip lock bag, one gallon size, add mixed grout, then cut small piece of corner off and use like a pastry bag and squeeze into corner, then use small wet sponge to force excess grout until you have a clean line
should work fairly easy

You are doing a great job and the tiles look great but be careful with grout I did a mosaic course and the person running it said we should wear rubber gloves, eye protection and a mask when grouting as it is very toxic. It's very interesting watching your videos thank you for posting 😊

@@DriftwoodFolk I don’t know about you young lady but this freezing weather gets to my bones and gives me so much pain and aches, but I am hoping the spring brings us all a bit better weather , I would imagine seeing to your narrow boat can be quite daunting for you on your own, but one day when you reach the last part, you can be so proud of everything you and your boyfriend have done together, Happy New Year to you and your boyfriend and both your families take care 👍

I found a old credit card or store card is good for getting the grout into corners the are a bit more flexible

Great update and a really incredible job on the fireplace surround. Your DIY skills have really improved tremendously. Keep up the good work and the day is coming when the two of you can spend more time enjoying the boat instead of working on it.
These are not amateurs, they have all the kit and more of a professional.
Try using your finger to get grout into the corner. But wear a glove 🧤 as you may wear your finger out.🤔but well done nice to see you progressing.

Great progress! But you have me worried, I see you have ear protection but no safety glasses? Industrial deafness takes a good few years but eyes are lost in a split second.😢 Anything with a spinning blade can shatter or throw off a tooth, no second chances. Screwfix have a great range starting at a couple of quid. You don't want to start out boat life looking like a pirate!!😂
