The corners are so crisp and defined. Thanks so much for the tutorial.
Thank you for the best solid hexagon tutorial ever! 👍🏻🌞
Beautiful hexagon, and so clearly explained. Thank you!
Thank you, this is what I was looking for. I will add a suggestion: If you can't tell the trebles from the doubles use stitch markers on the trebles. That should help keep the corners on top of each other.
I love the new blanket pattern with these hexagons! It is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️!
Thank you so much 🤗

Beautifully explained! Thank you so much!! I’m making a beehive (honeycomb?) blanket for a baby shower!
Sounds cute! I'd love to see the blanket when it's finished :)
What size hook should I use to make this with the bernat baby blanket yarn? Worsted weight 8/8. Thank you!!
My boyfriend and I call each other honey so I’m making us a honeycomb themed key bowl for our apartment!
So sweet :)
It turned out great! Any idea how I could make a half-hexagon in this style?
I use cotton dk xx
❤❤❤❤
Hi loving this hexagon, can you tell me , how do I make a half hexagon in this style. Making a blanket for my grandson and realised I need halves. Please help. X K
Hi, you can find the patterns for the half hexagons here: raffamusadesigns.com/half-solid-hexagons-no-gaps/
@@RaffamusaDesigns Thank you.x K
Do you have a video tutorial for these? I'm having problems getting the pattern to come out right.
@@laurelyarde8434 Hi, I'm sorry but I don't have the video tutorials for the half hexagons without gaps. Can I ask you what kind of issue you're having with the patterns? I'd love to help :)
Hello I recently purchased your 20 square Halloween pack I made the square up until the ghost skirt this is where I'm suck I'm still somewhat a beginner. I was wondering if you could make a video of how to do the skirt
Hi, for making the skirt of the ghost you need to use the same technique as for the petals of the Simple Flower Granny Square. If you search here on the channel, you'll find a video tutorial for that one! :)
@@RaffamusaDesigns okay awesome thanks a bunch 😀 gonna try it out during my lunch break in a bit
Can i use this hexagon for the hexagon sweater? I started but I noticed it stays flat. But I would like to use this pattern as it doesn’t have gaps… could anyone help me?
Hi, as you said, this pattern is for a flat hexagon, so it won't work for a hexagon cardigan. I've never tried, but I guess that if you want to use this hexagon for a cardigan, you could try to repeat *[dc 1, tr 1, dc 1] in first st, [dc 3] in next st* on round 2. This way you'd end up with 36 sts instead of 30. And then continue by only increasing at the corners. Even though I'm not sure if the number of increases would be enough... You might have to increase on the sides of round 3 as well. As I said, I never tried so I cannot say for sure. If you have the patience, you could play with the increases and see what happens :)
Just wish u had put up directions along with talking. It was not easy to totally understand. And a little fast with trying to follow.
Hi, for the written instructions+photos, you can check the link in the description of the video :)
Thanks for helping and to learn a new chrochet hexagon
Do you have a tutorial on joining these?
Hi, I'm sorry, I don't have a specific tutorial on how to join hexagons but I do have a couple of tutorials on how to join squares. You can find them here:
- flat slip stitch join ruclips.net/video/dLzX8rIJwJg/видео.htmlsi=3j1oDji6ALUb6EWq
- mattress stitch ruclips.net/video/WGSBAxVG49M/видео.htmlsi=CeGlskJLO7dQZ3xq
Would I get the same shape if I used sc and hdc instead of dc and tr ?
Hi, I never tried it but I'd say that the stitch count should also change if you use sc and hdc. But if you want to crochet a sc hexagon, why don't you make a simple hexagon placing all the increases all at the same corners? You can see how here raffamusadesigns.com/perfect-single-crochet-circle/
@@RaffamusaDesigns I wasn’t getting a a very clear shape but I’m starting to think it may be due more to my gauge than anything lol
@@ImThistle maybe you could try a few hook sizes and see which one works best with your yarn
@@RaffamusaDesigns ok! Thanks!
I'm not sure hdc will work with sc because hdc is fatter. If you're having trouble you could try a regular dc or maybe an extended sc (adding a ch before the final pull through).
Can this hexagon be used to make a cardigan?
Hi, this hexagon won't work for a classic hexagon cardi because it's a flat hexagon. Of course, you could join a few of these hexagons to make a cardigan but it won't be the hexi cardi everyone has in mind :)
can this be used for hexagon caridgan?
@@nycbklynrmp nope, this is a flat hexagon! For the hexagon cardi, you need an hexagon with more sts per round
⚠️make sure to read this⚠️
she is talking in uk terms, so u might think what she is saying is something else
treble crochet (uk) - double crochet (us/the rest of the world)
double treble crochet (uk) - treble crochet (us/the rest of the world)
Hi, actually, I use US terms
oh yeah, sorry, i meant to say US 😅😅
No me gustó el vídeo explica rápido y casi no deja ver lo que hace al final
She has a link to the written pattern. You can also slow the speed down if you need to see it! 😀
Тоже хотелось бы чтобы хоть один круг показали от начала до конца,язык не понимаю,а так бы хоть посчитала количество петель
Would you please consider in future tutorials not speeding up the video or skipping to the end of the round for the people that are crocheting along? What may be obvious to you as an experienced crocheter is not for people who are learning. Some of us need to see step by step. Thank you.😊
🤡
Then perhaps you should look into tutorials labeled beginner? Just a thought.
Womp womp
There’s a gear icon in the corner of the video that if you click it, it opens and has options one is the speed that can be slowed or sped up. 💕
@@melissaarreola6729 Your thoughts and assumptions that I am a beginner are both erroneous and therefore should be kept to yourself. Thank you and may you have the life you deserve.
