    I salt all my baits. Mullet, chicken & beef heart. Yes, beef heart. I freeze them but because they are salted they7 do not freeze hard & quickly thaw out ready for use. Nice & fresh. You had a good day./

    Aloha from Hawai'i Jason. I've been using Alvey reels here for 40 years, and own at least a dozen. I never see anyone in Hawai'i using these. Love these Aussie reels. Any videos with you using an Alvey I'll be sure to watch. I wish my Nissan Navarra had a diesel, love that sound!

      Aloha mate! From Hawaii - that's awesome! Glad to see the Alvey going strong overseas - they are a awesome tough reel indeed. Yeah I love my D-max and plan to do alot more trips with her. Check out my other 4x4 and Alvey fishing videos. Thanks for watching - glad you enjoyed! 😊

    I'm in Brissie too Jason same as you. Do you know any good low tide fishing spots around the place?

      Hey mate, I live on the Northside, so mainly all my spots are Northside. I have plenty of videos which cover low tide spots which you may be interested. Cheers mate 👍

    What rod do you match your alvey reel with? Ithanks mate😉

      @ImJasonFish  3 года назад

      Hey Anthony mate, Each of my fishing setups are in the video description below. At the moment I have a Daiwa Crossfire Surf 8'6" 3-5kg rod paired with it. However, it is not suited with Alveys, as it is not low mounted. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😊

    Hey Jason, what time of day were you fishing? Do you think tide movements makes any difference for surf fishing? Cheers

      Hey mate, we were fishing the afternoon. Would have loved to stay a little bit longer as the fish were biting, but didn't want to get caught out by the incoming high tide. Thanks for watching 👍
