"Being own boss is the ultimate security" Having personal knowledge of a good few people for whom that didn't prove true, I would say skills and flexibility are the ultimate security-provided the skills are not going obsolete anytime soon.
An associate degree IS a real degree. Even the local community college where I live has as many obstacles to entry as the state university. You also can't just get promoted to be a Dental Hygienist.
True. My community college had an Advanced accounting course that was split in two classes. Buy at the local university the same course was split in three! I'd say the students there had it easier, as it was spread across three semesters instead of two. I took the community college one and it was a struggle for me having to cram all that knowledge into just two semesters! I graduated with an Associates the next year. But yeah, it's like a junior university degree. I got employed by the city government in their finance department, so it all worked well.
There were a few jobs mentioned in this video that do require a college degree. This was a nice video, but the title of the video and some of the content is false.
I earn $90K per year And i dont have a degree or a certificate of some sort Work experience got me there I have a small wealth in house equity Im a go get it kind of guy I study finance and banking to understand how finance works I find that your bank doesn't tell you everything Banks want to rip you off Do your home work and learn things
Have you tried looking into trade school? Plumbers, HVAC, and electricians are a few examples. They make great money long term and will always be able to find jobs wherever you go to.
But please don't get a job working for E&Y. My brother in law has been there. And he had to demonotize his side hustle. As they would have claimed everything as a part of his contract. + The fact that he was being overworked and under paid. + The fact that he was expected to scam his clients. So all in all I would recommend that you stay away from E&Y.

Hero! Thank you.
God bless you
You still need an associates degree for some of these.
I agree! You really don't need a degree to make money! Obtaining financial literacy is something schools should teach more!
They choose not to teach it for a reason
Also:
Lottery winner
Bank robber

lottery winner isn't a job lol
neither is bank robber, drug dealer, cyber criminal - those are just illegal ways to get money
