Bought 2 off the silver bars from Atkinson as they were advertising them with the blister packs then received a call telling me the stock had come in standard sleves ,Atkinson were brilliant gave me the cancel option etc... so Bought another 2 .honestly and customer service goes a long way with me and its the bar that matters 😊😊😊
In my opinion the 1oz silver is not up to scratch and should be sent back for an exchange like for like after all you pay the highest amount of money for product from source, hope it works out.
I ordered 2 from royal mint to hold in storage, I also seen them at another dealer a few pounds cheaper so I ordered one. I got a call from other dealer saying that the ones they had from the mint were not in assay cards so did I still want it. I cancelled my order.
Send it back. I got a bullion gold 1oz coronation Coin and the quality was terrible (probably from the mint), luckily Atkinsons replaced it for me without and problems.
Still very beautiful design though~ thanks for the video! Would you consider a video about your ranking of your favourite bullion coins/bars? I'm quite curious! If you already did it I apologise, I'm relatively new and didn't check all the old videos yet
Good content and up to date. Most appreciated. Maybe make the price difference back from YT monifcation is it called. Interested to know how dealers can sell for so much less though 🤔
Nice looking bars. I thought I had bought a bunch of silver Britannias earlier in the year because of the historical significance of the trio. Pulled them out to give a set as a birthday gift and discovered I’d been stiffed. They sent me a bunch of British Milk Maids…😡
Can someone enlighten me please. As far as silver is concerned - if spot is around £18 per oz and the cheapest coin(or low weight bar) available is around £30 per oz then what sort of investment is this?
Yes, i watched to the end so I'm a RAMBLER any way. I am trying to avoid the VAT by buying" pre owned" the few i have bought have come in capsules, and no complaonts what so ever. compareable with my full price purchases.
"Just get it right for once" what about the gold one 😅 I'm not as well funded as you, so I often get the cupro-nickel BU versions of coins and sometimes their packaging is a bit tatty too, which is annoying.
Beautiful bars! Some things you just want and the price doesnt matter. We have upgraded to the "Super" Cool Kids Club now? Well.. I want a badge or a secret decoder ring or something! 😂
Hi, I can't think of anywhere else to ask this but is anyone else still not able access the silver forum? It seems as if its up for some people already but mine is still showing the same server move message. Maybe I'm just being impatient 😅
Yeah it seems its up for a lot of people I cant think why it wouldnt be for me. You wouldn't happen to have an email address for someone I could contact would you? I'll give it a few more days just incase.
Got the silver one from the mint. Found a free postage code so wasn’t so bad on the price. Gold is to much for me. My silver looks pretty good though, scratches etc.
I can’t believe you’re still spending good money on subpar products from the Royal Mint. Their phone constantly milk spot, and there are always issues with the products that you buy. Maybe switch to the Royal Canadian Mint
You say how easy the gold one could be faked, yet moan about buying it from the one place it’s guaranteed to be genuine. I’d rather pay a bit more and be sure it’s real.
Disappointing quality on the silver bar, but it's still better than most of the proof coins I've ended up with this year! Still waiting to receive a good set of these: ruclips.net/video/Aj1PzNVGWdo/видео.html
The colour of that Gold looks suspect ? Hint of Bronze very yellow indeed ? Hehehe , just funning with ya ? I wonder if there is a patent violation with the stag ? That would make that bar unique eh ? Very nice , but I feel buying new , with such little security features on gold , is a risk not worth taking . Amature hour at the mint . Personally I dont like it . I dont like the fragile packaging either , no security features . The damaged silver packaging . You are right to send it back with a stern letter and just to show your disgust send the gold back too , reason being lack of security features . Where is the Quality control at the mint ?
You were not wrong buying from RM. Yes the other dealer has them for sale but they only have them in plastic wrap. Only RM have them wrapped with the special printed card. I have a couple of the silver on order too, can’t afford the gold, they are beautiful
Both overpriced. If you live in the UK then avoid the silver because of the 20% VAT liability. The gold is VAT free but not Capital Gains Tax free which might affect you. Better to stick to Gold coins that are legal tender. They are tax free.
TERRIBLE quality considering they are direct from the mint!! (Especially the Silver) I wouldn't be happy if I'd received these from an Ebay seller, let alone the Royal Mint!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!

I think they’re still way better than our US mint. You could literally give yourself a paper cut on the rims of our gold coins lately.
Shocking quality control from the Royal Mint
Unfortunately a common issue with them
Yes no change on the QC has been going on for a long long time.
In my opinion the 1oz silver is not up to scratch and should be sent back for an exchange like for like after all you pay the highest amount of money for product from source, hope it works out.
You'd think after about 1,100 years they'd get it right.
:]
Also google. Shanghai exchange were rejecting gold from them a few years ago because they were lacing the gold with silver.
I like this. But when is the Royal Mint releasing its next gold bar in the Great Engravers series?
Shocking quality contol 😮
9:28 I got the silver one from Atkinsons and found out with no Assey card that it was supposed to be in so I'm getting it put in a free capsule.
Nice, good to know.
1 oz Au should be smaller than 1 oz Ag 🤔
Is it significantly thinner?
I ordered 2 from royal mint to hold in storage, I also seen them at another dealer a few pounds cheaper so I ordered one. I got a call from other dealer saying that the ones they had from the mint were not in assay cards so did I still want it. I cancelled my order.
Kinda sad that even after paying a slight premium for these bullions, the RM still demonstrate poor quality control. Cheers BYB ✌🏻😊

They look lovely, especially that gold bar 😍 shame about the poor blister packaging on the silver one though would expect more from RM
Yeah, it is a shame!
For how long you can leave silver or gold in blister card without tarnishing
Good content and up to date. Most appreciated. Maybe make the price difference back from YT monifcation is it called. Interested to know how dealers can sell for so much less though 🤔
We all make mistakes. Don't be too hard on yourself. Like you said, 'It happens to the best of us.'

Well you can sell to another buyer for what you paid or very close but if you need to sell quick to a shop then you will not do so well
very nice pieces it bites about the black spot now you can't unsee it
I plan to get the 1 oz one from silvertrader
I would have expected that the Silver would have been a bit bigger than the Gold? Looks very similar.
Pretty sure the silver is thicker which is nice
I had to send a simple BUNC £2 last week because of a piece of black fluff in the blister. Shocking how no one noticed
It's weird that there is so much black fluff!
I love it when you have a mini rant 🤣
Me to i love it when he has a good old rant.
For how long you can leave your gold or silver bar in blister card without silver tarnishing!
They are nice bars and complement the kciii cypher coins
Yes, i watched to the end so I'm a RAMBLER any way.

Send the silver one back for replacement. I did last week with a coin.
Yes I'm still in the cool kids club, enjoyed your video once again. Thanks
Quality control at TRM is a joke in my opinion I'm waiting for my 1oz silver from another dealer 😊
Beautiful bars! Some things you just want and the price doesnt matter.
We have upgraded to the "Super" Cool Kids Club now?
Well.. I want a badge or a secret decoder ring or something! 😂
thanks great video as always
Thanks again!

Back up for me, plenty of others are OK?
Yeah it seems its up for a lot of people I cant think why it wouldnt be for me. You wouldn't happen to have an email address for someone I could contact would you? I'll give it a few more days just incase.
@@seanb1234 it was up then down again then up again for me - seems ok now
Got the silver one from the mint. Found a free postage code so wasn’t so bad on the price. Gold is to much for me. My silver looks pretty good though, scratches etc.
LOL! I see that spot, which would really chaff my ass too!
What did your account manager had to say???
I have a returns label now thank goodness
I can’t believe you’re still spending good money on subpar products from the Royal Mint. Their phone constantly milk spot, and there are always issues with the products that you buy. Maybe switch to the Royal Canadian Mint
oh man you bought that 1oz gold bar just before the price tanked....
Yes, yes I did!
How can you return it to the Royal Mint if you bought them from Chards?
You didn't watch the video did you 😄
You say how easy the gold one could be faked, yet moan about buying it from the one place it’s guaranteed to be genuine. I’d rather pay a bit more and be sure it’s real.
Wait! What happened?!
Oh boy
Disappointing quality on the silver bar, but it's still better than most of the proof coins I've ended up with this year! Still waiting to receive a good set of these: ruclips.net/video/Aj1PzNVGWdo/видео.html
Trade mints??? Any day my good man
As an American I can’t understand how anyone who understands LIBERTY would want to own anything with king or queen on it . Just my pov
🇺🇸💯
Not to be taken the wrong way, but this is a very American way of looking at the world.

Wen 10oz video????
Pointless collecting silver, prices are the same as 2011.
Factually incorrect but sure
You sound like me describing something your not happy with 😅😂 go get that refund or replacement
RM is only good for BU stuff and even then its not great
