Cessna 172 ride from DuPage to Pekin IFR

Our flight at 8,000 feet from West Chicago to Pekin soared over a giant patch of windmills in western Illinois. The Skyhawk crossed the Illinois River near PawPaw.
Our pilgrimage today drew us to the legendary Tarragon airplane. Please see our other videos regarding the technological marvel.
The cross-country flight found Mark Hess at the co-pilot controls. N6163F steered steady as a rock as we radioed Chicago Approach, Chicago Center and Saint Louis Approach in succession. We completed the journey executing a visual approach into Pekin. The field is easily visible from the northeast as it lies south of Peoria.
