I was in Nashville Tennessee in 2000, and had been at Baptist hospital with my premature baby getting blood transfusions. I heard that Billy Graham was at the Collasium that night. My dad and mom walked with me to the stadium to see him deliver an amazing sermon. I feel blessed to have gotten that opportunity. It was once in a lifetime, and I will never forget that night. His sermon is exactly the words I needed to comfort my heart in that difficult time. My babygirl is a beautiful young lady. God answers prayers, always!

Thank you God for giving us so many wonderful years with Rev. Billy Graham. Each American should remember his words and the way he tried to lead this country. He truly was America's Preacher. And God love and comfort you Franklin and your whole family.

I am still so touched of Rev. Graham's passing. He was a faithful servant of the Lord. Today, he is in Heaven, in the presence of the God he loved so much and devoted himself on preaching the Gospel. The day I read that he passed away, Matthew 25:21, came to my mind. 1 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!".
What a welcome reception he must have had in heaven!!!

Dr. Shyamala Manibalan - not to be cynical ok, but according to I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Billy Graham is not yet in heaven. He is among the dead in Christ waiting to rise. Let's read the Word of God with understanding. It sounds nice to think, "oh he and grandma and so and so are looking down on us, with Jesus"...But according to the Bible, that's not the case yet. If you died completely in Gods will, then you are waiting for the fulfillment of I Thessalonians 4:13-18.
I'm + / positive, certain, that you are indeed a good intentional person, but in the eyes of the LOrd, we, we are equal, we are his children. He treats all of us, the same way, with the same blessings, grace & yes same punnishments, what we do deserve! it depends, are we doing our actions here on earth, intentionally, or we automaticly help ah, someone, if somebody fell down. That remains to be found out, what shouldn't be too long, if the people are being, as they are! Doin wars, yet they are in great problems / needs, oh, oh tha - an, than Oh please God help me? Yet our Lord is mercyful & gracious, & does help us. Be a good man, furhter on?
I had heard of Rev Billy Graham as a child but never heard his sermons until a few years back. What an amazing man of God. To live a life, completely devoted to our Lord & Savior is an amazing thing that I pray I’m able to do. Rev Graham told millions of the love of God and saved millions to dance in heaven! He’ll be missed tremendously here. But his impact will never be forgotten!
The Lord fell upon me this morning as I watched your father's tribute, it's God that gives us piece. I know that was God because he just had me on my knees thanking him before going to church this morning God is awesome, he's my best friend before anyone in this world.
What a man of God stood with us in South Africa in the days of apartheid and refused to preach to a segregated audience.

I can't get over how much Franklin resembles his father in looks, voice and manner. My heart goes out to the Graham family! "Absent from the body-PRESENT the Lord!". Madame Poovie I know. But one of the highlights in heaven after seeing the Lord face to face will be meeting all those who loved Him and followed him. He'll meet Abraham, the apostles, King David, Mary, everyone, including Ruth....though not as her husband.
Actually in Hebrew texts Jesus said there would be no new marriages. Not that we could still not be a recognized married couple. In fact we would know our spouse even better in Heaven then here on earth.

Do a little research Before you answer a post. Billy supported the CATHOLIC CHURCH. That's not something a Christian would do. His crusades were co-ordinated with catholic churches( as well as others) and he sent converts back to local supporting Catholic churches to be good Catholics again. I love the Gospel and can't understand why people blindly follow deceivers when the truth is readily available. Read the book " Billy Graham and his friends" by Cathy Burns. Open your eyes, this person was instrumental is starting a massive movement towards a one world religion. In his own words, he said everyone worships the same God !!!!! Don't you even have enough faith to take the time to search out the evidence to support the things you believe? 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I am grateful to JEHOVAH GOD for the blessings of having the foundation of Christianity instilled in my person as a child. This includes Billy Graham Revivals on the anolog television,seemingly expected attendance at church on Sundays and constant reference to scripture as reasoning from my parents. I felt this was the normal way of things. Everyone did this. Growing up I don't attend church anymore nor are my parents alive to guide,and no more are there Revivals on digital tv without cable. I have often found myself missing the norm and finding comfort in the foundation. Thank you Billy Graham for impacting my life with good. Rest in peace. Tanya Black

From the many years that I've watched and listened to the messages of evangelist Billy Graham he would always asked people to repent and turn from our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. His was a life well spent in obedient service unto the Lord Jesus Christ, to go into all the world and preach the good news about Jesus The Christ! And he did just that!!!! He's not dead, he's alive with the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, his wife, family members who died in the Faith and countless others who passed on millenniums ago!!!! I WAS GREATLY INFLUENCED BY BILLY GRAHAM
As a young boy and then as a teenager 3 evangelists have had a great influence on my life : Luis Palau, Reinhard Bonnke and Billy Graham.
Reverend Graham was without any doubt the greatest evangelist of all times. A few days ago, at age 99, the much respected American preacher went to be with the Lord.
Billy Graham did more than preach the Gospel to crowds : he inspired and equipped generations of evangelists, launched the Lausanne Movement to get the Good News to the unreached people of the Earth and was a powerful instrument in bringing together Christians from every denomination.
I was 13 years old when Billy Graham came to France. Terrorist attacks in the Parisian underground did not stop people flocking to hear him preach. Each meeting held in Paris was transmitted via satellite to a number of locations across the country. I remember going to that little town of Thiers in Central France to see the famous preacher on screen. Technology back then was not at its best: At one point we could see Billy Graham but the sound had gone. It still did not stop people to respond at the end of the sermon and come down in front of the big screen to give their hearts to Jesus!
I was 16 when I finally saw Billy Graham ‘for real’. My parents , my brother and I happened to be in London. Earl’s Court Stadium was packed. As Mr Graham came to the pulpit to preach, a group of young hecklers holding a banner started to disturb the meeting. Billy Graham kept his calm, looked at the group and simply said: ‘No worries. Back in the 40s when I first came to London your parents where already trying to disturb my meetings!’ The crowd cheered and applaud.
The whole London crusade was transmitted across the African continent. Nelson Mandela was back then still in prison. He happened to hear Graham’s sermon and we were told had while in his prison cell turned his life to Christ.
Millions across the world today are thankful to God for the preacher of North Carolina who one day led them to a personal relationship with Jesus.
