Absolutely love it! I have the Rekon5 and I'm going to buy the 6" arms. Then I'm going to have the motors connected to the FC with MR30 connectors so I can go from 5" to 6" with just loosening two bicycle nuts and 4 plugs!
Is the top plate ant bigger over the rekon5? Im having problem running 21700 on rekon5 (isnt the weight since i can run hero9 and 18650 li-ion) I think 21700 pack too wide and shaking, making quad vibrate. Im using the 3d printed zip ties. Battery strap was so tight between FC and top plate

What´s are the correct values for de VTX tables on this model? I just saw a video of AndyRC correcting them, In mine seems to be wrong becuse the values for the power are pretty low

The Rekon 6 is the worst RTF quad I ever bought, compared to the rekon 5, the best RTF quad I ever bought. I never found a tune to get rid of the vibration problems, the design is flawed, the frame is prone to resonance as one can see in the Betaflight logs. With a 4S 21700 pack the stock Rekon 5 flies way more agile an almost as long as the Rekon 6 .... and without any noticeable vibration or jello. Get a Rekon 5 !

I just bought this drone! I thought it was the perfect choice in between 5 inch and 7 inch. I have a few questions, mainly all battery related. What is your recommended 6s battery? I bought a long range 10c 4s that I plan on using for long range. I want to buy a 6s li-ion battery, but I'm struggling to find the right ones in stock. This ESC is rated at 35A for 10 seconds. In my mind, this tells me that I cant use a battery that has a higher discharge or burst rate than 35A, because I don't want to fry the ESC. Is this true? Or can I use any 100c 6s lipo with this drone? I appreciate what you do.
You got that backwards. The battery's capability is what's available. The ESC and motors request a certain amount of draw. It's fine to have a battery rated much higher.

There will be a Rekon 7 Pro (classic 7" that appears shortly in this video) and Rekon 7 (light 7" based on the Rekon 5) released in the near future :-)
You could just buy a DJI camera I believe, or even just the nebula pro camera and swapping it out with the old one is fairly simple aswell, no soldering required

When I hear "recon" the first thing I imagine is remotely controlled gimballed FPV camera with variable zoom lens and auto-pilot functionality. Come on drone people, there's more to drones than freestyle and racing! Make it happen!

Don't knock that on 6s. For the last 3 years my favourite setup has been 2205-1750kv hq quad blade 1300 6. Fantastic performance and 10+ mins is fairly easy.
Once I get up in the air, all I want to do is freestyle, not drive a shuttle bus driver for a naked go pro. Ya go your cinematic pilots... and then you got... your aerobatic pilots...

Can you revisit the 7" with these motors? Also not sure how many props you tried out but there are a lot of really bad 7" props
the Gemfan Flash 7040 are the best 7" props in my opinion

Not really. It's just that it can if you really want to in contrast to 4". But still not a good idea 😅

Rekon 5 is more than plenty.. the limit is DJI FPV range and never the battery.
