Great seeing y’all fish where I grew up fishing. But it can’t compare to South and North Dakota fishing holes. Especially targeting perch, walleyes, whitebass etc.
I'm a need some of those seasoning my guy..over here in fall river Massachusetts we don't have walleye, but we sure do have jumbo size crappie here because ppl hardly fish for them in this big lake.most ppl here hit the ocean... but lmk I'm looking to grab that seasoning for crappie this spring season fishing ❤❤❤❤
You should try using flies on the river from shore! My go to is a three-way swivel, 2 ft leader to a fly and a 1ft leader to a 3/8oz stick weight. Cast out and rip that sucker back. Walters love the fast action 👊🏼
Fun video! I fish the Wisconsin just south and bank fishing is a great way to fish it without feeding the river jigs! I use a half oz barrel sinker above a swivel with about 20 inch leader with a floating jig and fatheads. Congrats, keepers are a win!
If you get a chance, hit the Maumee river walleye run every spring. Great fishing and a good chance to catch a Lake Erie or St Clair Hog!! Got my limit this morning in 1 hr. 6 fish limit min 15"
If you guys are still in the Point area and the River isn’t producing I would recommend heading to Amherst and fishing the streams, rivers, and Dams for trout.
The seasonings look great! My mom usually gets me similar things for Christmas and I'm never upset about it. Cheers from Minneapolis brah! I want to try these ones! Although I'm a vampire I eat garlic every day to build up a tolerance 😉
Ahh, the time I went up to Eagle Point barge in Wisconsin to fish for Walleye, I was amazed by the Amish crew I saw. Ten men strong, including 10-year-olds with mustaches, were all on the barge out fishing me. They were jigging in perfect sync, like a well-oiled machine, putting my skills to shame. It was a humbling experience that reminded me I need to improve my jigging technique.
@@MinnDakOutdoors No the Rocky side that you were on is better to fish. Boat landing side is shallow. But I did catch a 24inch Walleye on the boat landing side a few years back.
Got to love the walleye videos so Entertaining and helpful For tips and ideas for catching walleye. I have had a lot of luck of off what you show in your videos for tactics and gear. Also was just wondering if you guys have ever been to the Iowa Great Lakes?
The dots on the walleye are little parasites, But u can still catch clean cook, because when u fry them in the oil, the oil gets so hot it just burns the parasites off.
Yet to break a Piscifun reel don’t have to new carbon 2 but mines 3 years strong 💪🏾 with no complaints Someone do a review on the new reels for me. Do I really need to change up if mine work perfectly
What camera gear do you boys use? If you would make a video about it or make an Amazon storefront. Even if you just linked everything in the description I would very much appreciate it. I’m just starting my own channel with the same type of content as you guys and I would like to know what other people are using.
I've seen those black does on bluegils, bass, and pike before too. Black-spot disease "These parasitic flatworms appear as tiny black spots on the skin, fins and flesh of fish. No method of control is available for the elimination of this problem. This organism does little harm to the fish. The main problem associated with black-spot is the unsightly appearance it may cause."
Walleye fishermen crack me up. In my area all the walleye guys complain the walleye population is diminishing, but meanwhile they kill every single walleye they catch. Gee, wonder what's happening to the population of them?
Gotta love when ole mindak outdoors uploads!
Ayeee
Surprised I didn’t see you guys! I live in Point and fish this dam often. Great spot for big perch this time of year as well!
❤️👊💪🎣

Dubay Dam is a good spot
That walleye that had a bunch of black dots was infected, the black dots are small cysts and it can get inside the meat of the fish making it inedible
Completely safe to eating
