After my craft fair, I'll be ready to craft along with you. Right now, I've got 16 journals almost ready to sew in spines. By the time I get these done, I'll be an old timer where spines are concerned. I was afraid of making a mess, so I just kept doing what I was comfortable with. Hence, 16 journals that are all in some state of progress. Then I lost my mogo and didn't do anything for a while. I just watched videos and learned so much from all of you. I'd like to thank you, and all of your journal making friends for how watching you in my no mogo period I didn't lose interest. You all kept me going during that dry spell !! Today I made fabric clusters from stuff that I found in a box of scraps that been on my desk top before I moved. I just checked on line and yes the deckel edge trimmer is now on the market. It's a little expensive though. It came out in 2023

Found your channel, and never looked back! My doctor said that PTSD could be cured if we bottled up what you teach! Hi Gayle, I have recently discovered this crafty hobby and I love your channel. I absolutely love these altered book videos. The book is turning out so amazing and I can't get enough of watching them. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, tips and hints and for the inspiration to make one myself. As I have only just started out, I dont have a lot of digital papers yet but I have started to collect some. I also work full-time for the NHS in UK so don't have as much time as I would like to spend on this new found hobby at present. Retirement looms in 3 years so by then I hope I will be able to spend more time crafting journals. Hi Gayle - I haven't written but I'm watching... Unbelievable. It was my birthday so I filled up my Amazon cart and told my husband that's what I want and you would laugh... all bits and pieces, glues and rulers, papers and punches, distress galore...! And I can only order it when we leave this country where the mail and customs are impossible. We are probably leaving the Mid East on July 31 as we have a ticket. But the numbers in Israel are high and there is a closure, the government is as bad as the US with no leadership and money first, people not. The Netherlands is well behaved, all is open but not much to do but walk and bike but no crowds anywhere and masks everywhere. So when we leave for the airport I will press my ORDER button. Meantime I watching your altered book become a journal, amazed. I watched the Rebookerty who has a whole system which you might find interesting if you like doing altered books. I have a zillion pages of digitalis THANKS TO YOU...!!!!! Bad influence. But I do so love it that packing is going to be nightmare because I have is paper and glue and that stuff is heavy...!!!!! Good morning Gayle, I purchased a deco trimmer by Royal in Walmart years ago. I like it because I can make tickets/tags or whatever else you can think of with it, it doesn’t cut all the way through and you can pull them apart like a ticket, there are eight settings. You've got the pages from your book right under your hands or you could just measure the page and write it down on a peice of attach paper. Any way I think as long as the writing isn't showing and you distress the edge it will blend in just fine Its July 20021 and Tim's decorated edge trimmer is on the market. I may be a little late telling you as you may already have one by now lol
I finally got smart & put "printed" in the download's name (in my computer) so I'd know which ones I printed & which ones I didn't. (But I didn't do that until recently, so I need to go back & do all of them!! I love digitals!!!
Gayle, we ordered gutter screws, longer that the original gutter nails. Added some wood glue and toothpicks if they were loose at the outer end.....tell hubby

Hi Gayle, I’m really enjoying this series. It’s really beautiful. I have an idea for the cover. Why don’t you collage the entire cover. I did that on one and it turned out great, although I used pieces of material. Don’t see why it wouldn’t work with paper. After I was done I sealed it watered down Mod Podge. It’s a good way tie in your paper scraps with what’s inside. Just a thought. Blessings to you and yours.

Every time u started to glue wrong I would yell . Then my boys would ask me what was wrong cause I was yelling. I finally found something that bugged them lol. Love the book so far hole mine turns out as good as urs. :-):-):-):-)

I’m not sure how many pages it had, but it had a one inch spine. When I finished it, it had 21 pages. The bunny digital is on Snazzie Creations on Etsy and the kit is called A Country Promenade. ❤️

I have an Epson 2550 EcoTank printer. I love it. It’ll print 4,500 color copies before needing ink. And the ink is reasonably priced. Hi Gayle, I’m really enjoying this series. It’s really beautiful. I have an idea for the cover. Why don’t you collage the entire cover. I did that on one and it turned out great, although I used pieces of material. Don’t see why it wouldn’t work with paper. After I was done I sealed it watered down Mod Podge. It’s a good way tie in your paper scraps with what’s inside. Just a thought. Blessings to you and yours.

I'm feeling it now though, so that's me done for the day. It's 6:57pm here and I am heading up to bed within the next 30mins, i'll carry on catching up with YT videos on the TV in the bedroom whilst I rest! xoxo

I’m not sure how many pages it had, but it had a one inch spine. When I finished it, it had 21 pages. The bunny digital is on Snazzie Creations on Etsy and the kit is called A Country Promenade. ❤️

I have an Epson 2550 EcoTank printer. I love it. It’ll print 4,500 color copies before needing ink. And the ink is reasonably priced.
