My name's Paige and I am in my third year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

Hey guys! Really sorry about all the glitches in the video - it seems to be getting worse and worse and I have no idea what’s causing it ☹️ I film on my phone and have just bought a new one today (eeeeee I’m very excited) so hopefully this will solve the issue🤞or it might be a problem with iMovie/Final Cut Pro and exporting - I’m looking into it, let me know if you have any ideas!
If you changed your phone and the glitches won't disappear, it's propably the fault of exporting on RUclips. I don't think it was the fault of the programs but if the glitches continue to appear you can try to edit and upload to youtube from a different device than usual or you can ask someone, who knows about it, to check if the fault isn't in the editing of the video, e.g. someone from the university or someone from the internet if you will send him the files of this movie. If you want, even I'll be able to do it ;)

I use adobe premiere pro, not sure how much of its features is similar to the software you're using but with mine, it helps that you render the whole video first before exporting it.
You seem so done this week! Hope things have gotten better. One of the girls in my uni halls hated nightclubs as they made her anxious. She joined us for pre-drinks every week (which is the best bit of the night anyway) and then if she'd been in the library she was still up when we came home and had toasties with us. So she probably didn't miss out on any of the bonding (she also met the guy who became her husband a few years later whilst in the library at 1am - he was a student too I should add). Just say no to clubbing if it's not you, you're not missing out.

I can totally relate on the not-enjoying-the-party part or when you imagined yourself jumping and enjoying with other pips but ended up feeling out of place and questioning why you're there. Or maybe I'm just getting old......i really don't know😁

i'm totally the same with you regarding on clubbing! I always try to give it another chance but find myself in the club thinking about stuff i could do instead like just having a relaxed chill evening by myself or with friends!

I was a Maths student and only went to library on odd occasion to get an old book that did not need to buy. Or just to get some books out of interest to take advantage of learning while at Cambridge. I also had my own apartment so no distractions from other students. I have strange study habits late at night and my side hustle was trading and using profits to invest in small plots of land in UK and US. My tip was study my ass off until I was confident that I nailed the work and understood it all. Then and only then I would contact friends to go out more so on my terms so always felt relaxed in social events as had no stress. I could not be in a house share under pressure as the noise and other peoples lives/conversations while I was in deep thought or busy trading would be a distraction. That is just my 2 cents worth.

Do you participate in study groups outside of supervisions? I know everyone has to do individual study but maybe working through your problem sets together or having an informal study sesh with other students from your supervisions might help for the times you feel a bit lost.. or is this discouraged by your uni?

Lool she’s really busy with all the stuff she has. She can’t upload more, be a bit more considerate please, it’s not as easy as you think, uploading and editing (which takes hours) while focusing on studies on a hard field.

Again, that doesn’t mean she’s not busy. Studies before anything else. I get that you’re a hardworking woman and busy as well and all, and also how RUclips isn’t just a hobby, but that doesn’t mean she has to risk her grades. Furthermore, just because you’re busy and still going on, does not necessarily mean other people are like that.
@@cdada344 No one cares about your life and what you do. This is Paige's channel. She's just a young woman and she should put herself and her studies first. Yes, she made a studytube channel. But that doesn't mean that she owes anyone on here anything. It's not like you're paying her. I'd rather she gets her sleep and has fun with her friends than her not having these things just for my selfish interest in watching a new video.
